Russia Reminds US It’s Not Over: Test-Fires Nuclear Missile

Both sides have run their nuclear drills (US here and Russia here) and it had all gone eerily quiet in the detente between the West and Russia…until now:

  • RUSSIA TEST FIRES INTERCONTINENTAL BALLISTIC MISSILE: INTERFAX
  • RUSSIA LAUNCHED TOPOL ROCKET FROM SITE IN ASTRAKHAN REGION: IFX
  • RUSSIA SAYS TEST MISSILE HIT NOTIONAL TARGET IN KAZAKHSTAN: IFX
  • INTERFAX CITES RUSSIAN DEFENSE OFFICIAL EGOROV ON MISSILE TEST

That should wake things up…for the 2nd time in two months. Time to BTFWWIII.

Dems Kill Key Pro-Israel bill to Appease White House on Iran

AP

The fallout from a rushed, late night decision by a leading Democrat to scuttle key pro-Israel legislation in a bid to appease the Obama administration threatens to complicate efforts by Democrats to hold on to the Senate, according to sources on Capitol Hill and in the pro-Israel community.

Senate Democrats led by Sen. Bob Menendez (D., N.J.) pulled from the foreign relations committee’s agenda Monday evening a major piece of pro-Israel legislation known as the U.S.-Israel Strategic Partnership Act, which would have bolstered defense and intelligence ties between the two nations.

Menendez called off the vote in order to prevent Sen. Bob Corker (R., Tenn.) from introducing an amendment that would grant Congress a final say on any deal the Obama administration strikes with Iran regarding its contested nuclear program, according to congressional aides.

Sixty-nine percent of likely voters support congressional oversight on a nuclear deal, according to a poll released by the Israel Project.

This was painful to watch. The correlation between the education level impacting the popular vote shows one of the primary reasons why we lost our country.

Sandra Fluke: ‘‘I’d rather be a captive Nigerian girl than touched by a Republican’’

Speaking on NPR’s internet public radio station KCRW in Santa Monica, Fluke was asked her opinion on the situation in rural Nigeria, where Islamists are holding around 250 school girls hostage, threatening to sell them into sexual slavery (or worse) if the government does not release numerous political prisoners they want to see freed from jail.  Addressing the matter of the radical group Boko Haram, which as killed, bombed and kidnapped people before and has the lowest opinion of women, Fluke told KCRW host Madeleine Brand on her afternoon showPress Play that the girls being held captive by the militants should “count themselves lucky” they weren’t being held captive by Republicans or working for Republican lawmakers.

Caterpillar Retail Sales Plunge By 13%, Most Since February 2010; Decline For 17 Consecutive Months

First, the good news: US retail sales of machines in the US posted its fourth monthly pick up, rising 12% compared to April of 2013 which print, however, was the biggest, at -18%, annual drop for US sales since 2010 so this was merely a modest stabilization relative to depressed comp levels.

As for the bad news, well: everything else. The drubbing in sales across all other markets continued, with sales in Asia/Pacific, EAME and Latin America all dropping by more than 20% compared to last year.

End blended result: global retail sales have now declined Y/Y for 17 consecutive months, which incidentally is just shy of the longest stretch of declining retail sales on record. Worse: the -13% drop in world retail sales matched the biggest annual drop since February of 2010.

“Be Prepared – Not Scared” This is a familiar motto to many preppers. Just what does this motto mean? What are the threats? What type of preparations are required?

Earthquakes / Hurricanes / Floods / Civil Unrest / Wildfires / Chemical Spills / Nuclear Biological Chemical (NBC) Terrorist Attacks / Blizzards

All these emergencies, while completely different in nature, are related in that every emergency unfolds in three distinct phases.

The Initial Phase takes place during the first 72 hours, the Adaption Phase includes the next 30 days and the Sustained Phase is sustained living in the altered environment. Plans that do not address all 3 phases will ultimately fail.

The BIBO Trailer excels at being prepared for all 3 phases. All Bug-Out plans require an extensive Bug-Out bag for the Inital Phase. The BIBO Trailer is an extension of the Bug-Out Bag. All Bug-In plans require stockpiling food and water for the Adaptive Phase. The BIBO Trailer is a mobile extension of these stockpiled supplies. The sustained Phase may take place a distant location and may require tools and equipment to adapt to the new living environment. The BIBO Trailer can transport this equipment. All phases require the basics of self-protection, shelter, heat, first aid and communications. The BIBO Trailer provides equipment to for these and any other situations.

Shock FedGov Court Ruling: Police Can Kick In Your Door and Seize Guns Without Warrant or Charges

Door-Breach

The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals may have just dealt a serious blow to the U.S. Constitution.

In a unanimous decision earlier this month the Court determined that law enforcement officers are not required to present a warrant or charges before forcibly entering a person’s home, searching it, and confiscating their firearms if they believe it is in the individual’s best interests.

The landmark suit was brought before the court by Krysta Sutterfield of Milwaukee, who had recently visited a psychiatrist for outpatient therapy resulting from some bad news that she had received. According to court records Sutterfield had expressed a suicidal thought during the visit, perhaps tongue-in-cheek, when she said “I guess I’ll go home and blow my brains out.” This prompted her doctor to contact police.

For several hours the police searched for Sutterfield, speaking with neighbors and awaiting her return home. They received an update from her psychiatrist who said that Sutterfield had contacted her and advised that she was not in need of assistance and to “call off” the search, which the doctor did not agree to. Police eventually left and Sutterfield returned home, only to be visited later that evening by the lead detective on the case:

New footage of Imperial Cops Murdering a Veteran Over Traffic Stop

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CrzoWqAkSM

From YouTube:

Tommy Yancy, 32, father of two, was savagely beaten to death by five law enforcement officers during a routine traffic stop near the city of Imperial last Sunday, on Mother’s Day. Yancy, a veteran who suffered from PTSD, served in Afghanistan and Iraq in the 259th Field Service Unit following the 9/11 attacks.

I could say that this is not America. And then what? We sit and watch. We want to believe that these are isolated incidents. But the reality is that our police are not here to protect and serve: they are here as a militarized unit of the police state.

1. We have to ask ourselves why. Why are the police militarized. Why are federal agencies buying arms? We know the answer. And we know that it will only get worse.

2. Once we understand why this is happening, we must individually decide what we will do to protect Liberty. This is not meant as some patriotic call to arms: this is a simple decision on whether you will fight to regain your children’s freedom. And you must decide now if you are in this to the end.

3. Organize your community and form a plan. With honor, virtue and faith.

4. Stand up. Evil is in our country and it will not back done. You have to understand that this is a war that will be comprised of multiple battles. The objective is to win the war and rebuild our country.

Stop a new amnesty for illegals — take action now, please read

Immigration Activists and Concerned Citizens,

TRUST ME, THIS CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE……..CONTACT U.S. SENATOR KAY HAGAN from North Carolina on Tuesday morning, 20 May……see below.

The Senate Armed Services Committee will consider the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) tomorrow, and could insert amnesty for illegal immigrants directly into the must-pass Defense bill, making it harder to remove as the legislative process proceeds.  Our U.S. Military is being reduced in size, so why would we give any enrollment to illegal immigrants?  There is no shortage of recruits as DoD has met their recruitment goals in 2013 and will easily do so again in 2014.  An in-effect “Military amnesty” for illegals must be opposed, particularly because of the national security challenges and other burdens it places on our military when its personnel as noted are already being drastically reduced.

Please call U.S. Senator Kay Hagan from North Carolina who is on the U.S. Senate Armed Services committee, and let her know you are opposed to military amnesty for illegal aliens in the Senate defense bill, and tell her also to say NO to  any language in the Defense Bill that allows Homeland Security to do an administrative amnesty.

Call U.S. Senator Kay Hagan at 202-224-6342.  In this case we need phone calls to her office.

If you have questions about my request above, please click here for ten reasons why we should NOT do an amnesty for illegals who wish to join our military.

Please send this email to your friends and associates.  Thank you.

Ron Woodard
