The Grim Statistics of Misrule

     Wall Street was buoyed by the June 2013 Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Payroll Survey indicating that 195,000 jobs had been created. The primary unemployment measure (U-3), however remained stuck at 7.6 percent, since some of the huge backlog of employment market dropouts reentered the market. Moreover, nearly half the employment gain was needed to absorb the 90,000 legal immigrants arriving in the U.S. every month.
 
     The larger and more detailed BLS Household Survey for June showed a 160,000 job gain. Edwin Rubenstein, President of ESR Economic Consultants, breaks the statistic down to native-born employment and foreign-born employment, revealing that foreign-born employment rose by 244,000 but native-born employment fell 84,000. Since January 2009, the beginning of the Obama Administration, foreign-born employment has risen by 1,895,000, while native-born American employment has fallen by 58,000. These figures indicate consistent displacement of native-born American workers by both legal and illegal foreign-born workers. Since most of this displacement replaces American workers with lower paid legal and illegal immigrants, Wall Street’s early July optimism about an improving economy may prove unwarranted.
 
     The Center for Immigration Studies has also just released a study revealing immigrant gains and native-born losses from first quarter 2000 to first quarter 2013. The number of legal and illegal immigrant workers increased by 5.3 million, while native-born workers actually declined by 1.3 million. This was despite the fact that the native-born potential workforce (those aged 16 to 65) increased by 16.4 million or 65 percent of the total potential workforce increase of 25.2 million (including legal and illegal immigrants). The fingerprint of corrupt immigration policies resulting in massive cheap foreign labor displacement of American workers is very strong here.

‘Cairo On The Lake’ Meets Concealed Carry In Illinois

Illinois has become the last state in the union to allow citizens their full Second Amendment rights, and officials in the murder capital of America worry about the consequences of citizens defending themselves.

Illinois’ legislature on Tuesday voted to let gun owners carry concealed weapons. The action followed a violent and bloody Fourth of July weekend in President Obama’s hometown during which 74 people were shot and 12 were killed.

Permission for concealed carry in Illinois was prompted by a ruling late last year by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in Chicago. It found that Illinois’ law, the most restrictive in the country, violated the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. The court ultimately gave the state until July 9 to rewrite it.

Illinois had the most restrictive gun laws in the nation. Still, the carnage in some neighborhoods of Chicago made it safer to walk the streets of Kabul, Afghanistan. Local officials, such as Mayor and former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, blame guns coming in from outside the city. Yet crime rates in the suburbs and downstate have been lower.

What Does a Currency Collapse Look Like?

Will It Be a False Flag Attack Or a Currency Collapse?

My initial response to that question is, does it really matter? The pattern of societal collapse and subsequent governmental enslavement of the American people will be largely the same whether the precipitating incident is a false flag attack or a currency collapse. For the purpose of simplicity, let us call the precursor event to all-out martial law, a currency collapse.

The Federal Reserve Is the Enemy of Humanity

The Federal Reserve has been bleeding this country to death for exactly one century. What the dollar bought 100 years ago, can only buy three cents of product today. This means that 97% of the value of our currency has gone into the pockets of the Federal Reserve.

I am amazed at the abject ignorance of the American people and that they think the Federal Reserve is actually part of the federal government. As we like to stay in the alternative media, the Federal Reserve is no more federal than Federal Express.

The Dollar Is Diving

The world is running from the dollar. Until recently, our dollar was used as the currency of international trading. Further, the dollar was also the reserve currency for oil. All foreign countries wishing to purchase oil from the Middle East, first had to purchase dollars from the Federal Reserve. After FDR took us off the gold standard during the Great Depression and Richard Nixon finished the task of providing America with a totally Fiat currency, the only backing that our dollar enjoys is that of being the reserve currency for both trading and for oil (i.e. the Petrodollar scam).

Trayvon’s Doctored Death Picture

I cropped this picture of Trayvon Martin from what MSNBC released to incite violence. It is immediately apparent that this picture has been doctored. We know from the trial that he had grass stains on his knees. If you have Photoshop, you can also zoom in on the top of his right hand: the color is different and his knuckles are removed.

This is another poor attempt to manipulate the news instead of reporting it.

Is HB 937 Mired in ‘Dysfunction Junction’?

Long over-due bill languishes while Republican leaders haggle…

Within sight of final victory, House Bill 937 (“Amend Various Firearms Laws”) for concealed carry  in restaurants, assemblies for which admission is charged, campuses, parades and funerals, (and much more) faces one final obstacle: Intra-party Republican bickering between the NC House, Senate and Governor’s mansion.

Governor Pat McCrory, Senate President Pro Tem Phil Berger, and House Speaker Thom Tillis have battled over the budget, abortion legislation and more. In the latest episode of “dysfunction junction,” they are now haggling over what happens should HB 937 go to a conference committee.

To their credit, Speaker Tillis and members of both chambers continue to promise to pass the bill this year. Moreover, they seem happy with most aspects of the legislation except the pistol purchase permit repeal. The question is: What’s next and when will it happen?

Enough is enough!

GRNC is coordinating an effort to let Tillis, Berger and McCrory know we are serious about passing HB 937, and that failure to do so may have serious consequences for one or more prominent Republicans in upcoming elections. To that end, we want you to email your concerns to them, and to call each of their offices on Monday morning at 9:00 am.

IG: IRS Made ‘Policy Decision’ to ‘Legalize Illegal Aliens;’ Ended Up Paying Illegals

The question of whether to legalize illegal aliens and put them on a pathway to citizenship may be the most controversial legislative issue facing the U.S. Congress this year.

But, according to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA), seventeen years have already passed since the Internal Revenue Service made its own “policy decision” to “’legalize’ illegal aliens.”

That policy, made those many years ago, not only determined that the IRS would treat illegal aliens the same as legal immigrants and U.S. citizens, but also that the IRS would not hand over to federal immigration authorities information about employers who appeared to be hiring large numbers of illegal aliens and about illegal aliens who filed false documents with the IRS.

As a result of the IRS’s policy, by 2010, according to TIGTA, the service was paying out $4.2 billion in refundable “Additional Child Tax Credits” to illegal aliens. In 2011, according to TIGTA, the IRS would pay more than $46 million in tax refunds to what theoretically were 23,994 illegal aliens who all used the same address in Atlanta.

Spanish Banks Petition To Convert Historical Losses Into Bank Capital

In what has to be the most insane level of desperation, the Spanish banking system is lobbying to turn its deferred tax ‘assets’ into fungible capital to meet new stricter Basel III requirements. In other words, the Spanish banks believe that capitalizing historical losses provides a fungible ‘stash’ of capital against future losses… Following this morning’s round of incredulity from the Spaniards, we have no words…

Spanish banks are lobbying the government to turn more than two thirds of their 50 billion euros ($65 billion) in deferred tax assets into state-backed tax credits that would boost their capital but add to the state’s debt, three banking sources said.

The so-called deferred tax assets (DTAs) are created when a bank makes losses or writedowns that it can offset against future tax bills when it returns to profit.

Under stricter Basel III rules on capital, being phased in as of January 2014, most forms of DTAs will no longer be allowed to count towards capital, while tax credits will be.

Spanish banks are asking the government to convert between 15 billion and 30 billion euros of their DTAs into tax credits, the banking sources said.

Janet Napolitano Quits: Will Be Next University Of California President

Janet Napolitano, the U.S. secretary of Homeland Security and former governor of Arizona, is being named as the next president of the University of California system, in an unusual choice that brings a national-level politician to a position usually held by an academic. Her appointment also means the 10-campus system will be headed by a woman for the first time in its 145-year history.

Napolitano’s nomination by a committee of UC regents came after a secretive process that insiders said focused on her early as a high-profile, although untraditional, candidate who has led large public agencies and shown a strong interest in improving education.

UC officials believe that her Cabinet experiences –- which include helping to lead responses to hurricanes and tornadoes and overseeing some anti-terrorism measures — will help UC administer its federal energy and nuclear weapons labs and aid its federally funded research in medicine and other areas.

“While some may consider her to be an unconventional choice, Secretary Napolitano is without a doubt the right person at the right time to lead this incredible university,”  Sherry Lansing, the regent and former film industry executive who headed the search committee, said in a statement being released Friday. “She will bring fresh eyes and a new sensibility — not only to UC, but to all of California. She will stand as a vigorous advocate for faculty, students and staff at a time when great changes in our state, and across the globe, are presenting as many opportunities as challenges.”

Napolitano, who is a Democrat, was appointed by former President Clinton as the U.S. attorney in Arizona and then won elections as state attorney general and twice as governor, a position she held from 2003 to 2009. President Obama then named her to lead Homeland Security, an agency with an annual $60-billion budget and 240,000 employees.
