GRNC Alert 2-21-13 Fight Pending Attack by Obama Radicals

On Feb. 25 & 26, make ‘Five Phone Calls for Freedom’

Friday, February 22, will witness an unprecedented attack on your rights as Obama mobilizes his army of left-wing activists to push for federal gun bans. “Roll Call” recently ran a piece entitled, “Organizing for America Plans ‘National Day of Action’ to Mobilize Grass Roots on Guns.” It went on to say:

Organizing for Action is planning its first official mobilization in support of President Barack Obama’s proposals to curtail gun violence. The nonprofit that inherited Obama’s campaign infrastructure and 2 million strong volunteer army will hold a ‘national day of action’ on Feb. 22, officials said Tuesday.”

If that doesn’t scare you, it should

What you are seeing is “Barry the Community Organizer” doing what he does best: Attacking your rights using millions of rabid radicals who will stoop to any level of deceit in order to control you. The grass roots initiative began with his State of the Union address, in which he packed the house with families of victims of mass killings. Next, Obama went on the road to sell his plan at schools in Atlanta and elsewhere.

Now MoveOn.org is joining the fray by running TV ads that proclaim, “The NRA doesn’t speak for me.” Continue reading

Global Elitism: The Character Traits Of Truly Evil People – Brandon Smith

The first dangerous mistake the average person makes is the assumption that “evil” is a kind of subjective or “gray” concept.  We would love to believe that all destructive and malicious behavior is merely a product of bad environment, bad upbringing, or mental psychosis.  Deviance in the name of misguided “profit” or “status” is often more acceptable to the public; as long as there is a reason we can easily understand and grasp.  What frightens the average American today is not the abhorrent action of criminality; rather, it is criminality without easily definable reason.  What frightens the common citizen is the possibility that some people hurt others not because mommy and daddy “mistreated” them, or because they have a psychological deficiency that clouds their judgment, but because they fully and consciously ENJOY doing what they do.  Our society is desperate to make excuses for the monsters of our era, perhaps because we would rather not entertain the possibility that there is a dark side to humanity as a whole, that if left unchecked, could take control in a deliberate and calculated way.

This is why the greatest crimes of our time often go ignored by the public.  The idea, for instance, that international financiers and political elites would purposely create economic disparity, social chaos, and global war out of a desire for centralized power and a disturbed sense of superiority is simply too much for many to handle.  Surely, these terrible events throughout our modern history are merely the result of random coincidence and human error…right?

Constitutional Challenge to Dodd-Frank Grows Ranks

Barney Frank, Chirstopher Dodd / AP

Eight more states have joined a lawsuit against part of the Dodd-Frank financial reform act, arguing that the act undermines their financial stability.

A judge for the United States District Court for the District of Columbia Tuesday accepted the plaintiffs’ motion to amend the complaint to include the eight new states. The new states are Alabama, Georgia, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Ohio, Texas, and West Virginia. They join Michigan, Oklahoma, and South Carolina, which launched the suit in September 2012.

“Dodd-Frank … gives the federal government the power to pick winners and losers, putting the state of Georgia’s financial assets at risk,” said Georgia’s Attorney General Samuel Olens in a statement. The states filed to join the lawsuit last week.

Dodd-Frank came as a response to the financial collapse in 2008; the law seeks to prevent a similar collapse from reoccurring by regulating the financial sector.

Gold and Silver Update: “Have the Courage of Your Convictions and Hold Fast”

The last couple of weeks have seen stock markets bounce around inexplicably and reach new highs, all in the midst of an economy that is, once again, about to buckle.

Likewise, during this time period we’ve seen the price of gold and silver fluctuate significantly, primarily to the downside.

This has left many holders of these metals, as well as potential investors, quite nervous.

Is this the end of gold’s decade-long run?

The Economic Impact of a War Between Japan & China

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7SA3p8ys-s

From YouTube:

A major conflict between the region’s two largest economies would not only impose a harsh dilemma on U.S. diplomats, but also have a significant impact on the entire global economy. It is in every nation’s best interest that the Chinese and Japanese settle their territorial dispute peacefully.

THIS IS HOW THE DHS SEIZES YOUR GUNS

inspired by John Ross

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) recently raided one of our readers: a kitchen table FFL dealer who does everything—everything—by the book. He has, however, consistently criticized the ATF for its unconstitutional regulations and long history of extra-legal activities. This is his story.

First of all, forget about them coming to the door. They’ll intercept you on your way home from the Doctor’s office (for example), then one vehicle will come up behind you and two will block your way in front and turn on the flashing lights. They then jump out with ‘real’ assault rifles, point them at you and order your hands up, and exit the vehicle.  You, being a law abiding citizen, comply. At gunpoint, they order you to assume the position against your car, handcuffs you and frisk you, and you’re directed to get into the back seat. Then the lead agent gets into the driver seat and drives your car to your driveway. You sit there with cuffed hands behind you – bleeding.

DEMOCIDE: Socialism, Tyranny, Guns And Freedom

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmfs_QM0OIA

Democide is the elimination of a despised group by a government. It includes genocide, politicide, and other forms of state-sponsored mass murder. The hated minority headed for extermination may be defined by religious, racial, political, class, cultural or other attributes. Between 200 and 260 million people were the victims of democide in the 20th century, several times more than were killed in international wars during that period.

Why a banking insider says “it’s time to be very worried”

Despite all the commotion outside, I met up with my colleague, and we dove immediately into a conversation about international banking and the state of the global financial system. As a senior executive of a large international bank, he is the ultimate insider. And I was floored by what he told me.

He openly acknowledged, for example, that banks are frauds. Most banks, particularly in the developed west, only hold a tiny fraction of their customer’s deposits in cash. The rest is gambled away on whatever the popular toxic security du jour happens to be.

This entire system rests upon a very thin layer of confidence, reinforced by the occasional taxpayer bailout. Yet it struck him as incredible that people still had confidence in banks, especially given that most of the investment products promoted to their customers are “crap”.

He told me how destructive central bankers are, creating untold amounts of inflation that only serves to make people poorer, while enabling governments to go deeper into debt.

Most of all, he told me that very few of the banking sector’s underlying deficiencies have been addressed since the 2008 meltdown. Many western banks are still insolvent, with the key difference that their governments are now also insolvent.

A Blueprint To Restore The Articles of Confederation

Ron Holland

The restoration of America’s first and legitimate government will not be a quick or easy task but it is necessary if we are to survive as a free people and nation. While the US should, of course, retain both the Constitution and Bill of Rights, we must return to a decentralized confederation structure of government like Switzerland or Canada and add in the right of Swiss style referendums so citizens can terminate or initiate legislation when Congress fails to follow the will of the people.

While there have been many thoughtful and needed proposals about how we need to end the Fed, return to a gold backed currency, require term limits, repeal the 16th and 17th amendments to the Constitution, require a declaration of war for military action or a balanced budget and other changes, none of these will restore limited government or our republic. I agree with these ideals and many more but all will be ineffective if we retain the federal government structure in place now.

How could any American believe a law, congressional act or even an amendment to the Constitution could in any way control or limit the powerful interests running our government today? The Bill of Rights sounds great, the balanced budget amendment or national debt limit are compelling but all are meaningless gestures to a gullible public who really want to believe in America and our government.

GRNC Alert 2-20-13 Hagan calls for registering private gun sales

Tells gun control extremist Chris Fitzsimon what he wants to hear…

Demonstrating poor judgment characteristic of an anti-freedom politician who earned only a GRNC 1-star evaluation, Senator Kay Hagan recently gave a radio interview with left-wing activist, Chris Fitzsimon, Director of NC Policy Watch, a “progressive” policy organization.

During this ranging interview, which turns to gun control at about six minutes, Hagan made clear her support of expanded background checks that are a key part of the Obama/Biden/Feinstein gun ban. Hagan claims such checks represent a “positive move” toward keeping “guns out of criminals’ hands”.

What “universal background checks” actually are is a mechanism for gun registration, the necessary prelude to confiscation. Usefulness of such checks in stopping crime is vanishingly rare. According to economist and social scientist John Lott, Jr., purchases prevented by the current NICS system are almost always false-positives, serving only to harass and hinder the law-abiding.

Sen. Hagan clearly needs to be reminded that NC gun owners will tolerate NO COMPROMISE with Obama’s gun ban.

IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED!

The Rubber Is About to Meet the Road

On December 27, 2012, an article outlining information from an insider at DHS was published at Canada Free Press:

DH: How soon do you see things taking place?

RB: They already are in motion. If you’re looking for a date I can’t tell you. Remember, the objectives are the same, but plans, well, they adapt. They exploit. Watch how this fiscal cliff thing plays out. This is the run-up to the next big economic event.

I can’t give you a date. I can tell you to watch things this spring. Start with the inauguration and go from there. Watch the metals, when they dip. It will be a good indication that things are about to happen. I got that little tidbit from my friend at [REDACTED].

Gold is down almost 6%  6.41% 7.41% in the past thirty days and silver has been “beatdown“. As a world wide currency war is erupting and nations’ debt to GDP is past the point of no return (over 90%), a logical conclusion would be that all markets and commodities are being manipulated. If true, this level of manipulation would be the last gasp prior to an economic collapse.

Which brings us back to the statement made by the DHS insider. We are either at the point where “the next big economic event” is about to occur or Happy Days are here again. One way or another, we shall have some answers in the next few weeks concerning the economy and the veracity of  DHS leaks.

The Curious Case of Falling Gold and Silver Prices

A curious thing happened last week. The prices of both monetary metals have been falling for a week and a half through February 15. No, that’s not the curious part. There is no law of nature that says the prices have to go up, but if they go down it must be artificial somehow. The curious thing is that the price fell while open interest in futures rose, which is not typical of how the market has actually been behaving in recent years.

Now let’s look at the data.

Gold and Silver Prices

Silver loses about 6.6%, and gold about 4%; thus the gold:silver ratio gains about 2.6%.

Next, let’s look at the open interest data, which is the number of futures contracts in each metal.

Total Futures Contracts
