Thirteen Demands From Occupy Wall Street

The following information has a disclosure from Occupywallst.org that most people are ignoring in their posts. The author is Mr. Hart from Massachusetts. Although the list is not official, my opinion is that it does reflect the “demands” of a majority of the protesters (also known as useful idiots) on the streets.

If we never really understood what a community organizer does,  we do now. Tap into people’s frustration, deflect this frustration on a group (race, rich or people who wear purple pants on Tuesdays), manipulate the people with false hope and then take control.

We are on the road to serfdom. How can we restore our nation if our founding principles have been forgotten by our children?

Civil unrest, social unrest and economic collapse: doom and gloom scenarios are prevalent from both sides now. The media has aligned itself with the Occupy Wall Street movement as fast as it maligned the TEA Party movement.

Now that the media and celebrities are joining their unnamed cause, the labor unions are coming out to help their brothers and sisters.

The truth is that the top down approach from the federal government is now organizing a bottom up attack with the help of the labor unions. The goals will soon be irrelevant. We are heading into either an insurrection, civil war or revolution.

The latest movie from Accuracy in Media (AIM) outlines the hypocrisy of our federal government (Dick Durbin in this example).

The government imposes new regulations on banks. The banks pass the increased costs on to the consumer as monthly fees. The government chastises the banks as they pocket the payoffs from lobbyists and plan their next round of corporate blackmail (political donations) for the 2012 elections. I guess there is no honor among thieves.

What Banner Do We Fly?

Let us, as an exercise, examine our inaction. We will not harass or bother the justices of the Supreme Court, who routinely betray the intent of  the Constitution because we will be thrown in jail. We will not stand up for liberty at the airport because we will be detained, miss our flight and perhaps be thrown in jail. We will not cause a ruckus in the House of Representatives because we will be thrown in jail. We will not attempt to interfere with the FED because we will be thrown in jail. We will not fight back against the unions because we will be thrown in jail. We will not fight back against the banks because we will be thrown in jail. We will not refuse to be pulled over at a DUI checkpoint because we will be thrown in jail. We will not refuse to pay taxes as a protest because we will be thrown in jail.

Ben Bernanke testified before the Congressional Joint Economic Committee on October 4, 2011.

Points made in this video:

    • The economic recovery is close to faltering
    • The middle class is collapsing
    • Class warfare – the rich control too much of the country’s wealth
    • Banks may need to be broken up
      (Don’t tell Congress that the Federal Reserve is the largest private bank)
    • No more banking bailouts
    • The European Union may face a bank run and how the Federal Reserve will act if this happens

How Do I Get Married Without A License?

On August 16, 2009, Sara and I were married. We had a covenant wedding and did not get a state-issued marriage license. God instituted the plan of marriage, so through study and prayer, we made the determination long before we were married that we did not need the government’s permission to be married.

Since this time, the questions have poured in… How did you do it? How did you change your names? How do you file taxes? How does it work? I received another question just today. So in an effort to address these questions and others like them, I am creating this blog post.

A Riddle for America

Jimmy Carter started it, Barack Obama litigated it, Congress and Wall Street abused it and it led to a world wide economic collapse. What is it?

The Community Reinvestment Act enacted by Jimmy Carter led to the belief that it is a  “right” for everyone to own their own home. If you did not qualify, the government made the bank provide a mortgage through regulatory blackmail. The excesses of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were well known in Washington for over a decade. The video and excerpt below are just more instances of greed and the abuse of power in Washington.

The actual phrase was “Let them eat brioche” but we get the picture or in this case the cartoon. It is strange that the administration is organizing a bottom-up attack on the American people focused against the principles that they personally espouse. Lavish parties with $100/lb Kobe beef, extravagant displays of jewelry and vacations, entourages that rival old world emperors and a disregard for the common working man will hopefully not have consequences of a different nature when their revolution starts.

We Are Way Behind

The way conservatives always get their butts kicked is that they rely on the persuasiveness of their arguments. They appeal to truth and fact and the irresistible force of logic. Liberals have no such illusions to hold them back. They know that everything they desire needs to be accomplished by deception, so they don’t waste time on rational arguments but appeal directly to emotion to get the support they need. They do not even need to have everyone working toward the same goal as the intent is discontent. The snake, once moving, can be guided by the head.

I am not trying to make a case that conservatives are smarter than liberals, or more dedicated to the truth, we each have our own truths and liberals, I think, in terms of raw intelligence, are smarter than conservatives. One does not have to be very smart to put two and two together and arrive at four, but one must be brilliant to put two and two together and arrive at five. That sounds funny, but think about it for a moment. Their intelligence and the arrogance that comes from it allows them to completely re-work society in their heads and figure out a way to get what they want. All they have to do is be bold enough to lead the moochers and looters, to figure out a way to get them to align with their goals.
