I am not surprised about any kind of camps in the Bible Belt. We used to live in middle Tennessee. With in a half hour drive there where two homo communes and a gay bar. The reason they exist is because the churches there had no intention of witnessing to them or confronting them. I searched for 6 months to find a man to go with me to witness to them and I could not find one. I got passed around to this pastor or that mission organization without anyone wanting to do it (in the end I walked into the camp alone).

Just before we moved, they brought the drag queens into a library of a town of about 33,000. They could not get 200 Christians to show up to protest. I know within a few blocks, there where a couple churches that had hundreds of members. If was sad and hurt my soul.

I did look and found a lot of associate camps scatter around the south. Just for a reference, look up radical fairies to see what was there.
