Having lived for more than a few years, I have traveled all around the world and seen many strange and interesting places and things – but nothing in my past experiences could’ve prepared me for the news conference of President Obama while at the G-20 summit in Turkey.
At the very time that Obama was explaining why the mightiest nation on earth could do nothing to effectively deal with the spread of Islamic terrorism, President Hollande of France – a nation heretofore best known for throwing down its weapons and surrendering – declared that the French were at war with ISIS/ISIL. This is a remarkable occurrence in the history of human civilization: the one nation which has always been at the forefront in the battle against aggression and evil, was being unmasked as weak and inept, while another nation, which has always been reluctant to enter the fray, boldly stated that they were going to lead the charge.
There are times in the course of history when a leader has the opportunity to rise to the occasion and grasp greatness; Churchill, FDR, and Truman stood up to the demands of the hour and will be always remembered for their courage and tenacity in leading the world in its time of trial. Our president has obviously decided that he would rather be remembered as the Steve Urkel of history.
Obama is a Harvard educated, philosophically neutered individual who has obviously been exposed to more academic training than his brain is equipped to digest. After America was attacked by Muslim terrorists on 9-11, an Islamic jihadist killed or wounded several soldiers at Fort Hood, Islamic terrorist brothers killed or maimed dozens at the Boston Marathon, ISIS brought down a Russian airliner, and now they have inflicted the worst carnage on Paris, France since the Second World War. And our limp-wristed president feels that we can do nothing to confront Islamic fascists who are willing to die in their efforts to annihilate America. If this submissive mindset wasn’t so dangerous it would almost be humorous!
One might well wonder if Obama has decided that the Islamic desire to conquer the world for Allah will ultimately succeed and wanting to be in their favor when that day comes, merely squelches any meaningful response to their aggressive behavior. Short of that, Obama lives in a fairy-tale world where horse droppings are actually candy and everything will turn out just hunky-dory if we merely sit on our thumbs and wait for the good ship Lollipop to dock.
Right now the European countries are prepared to be proactive in the war against Islamic terrorism, while America shows no inclination to lead in any meaningful way. In fact, our president and the female wannabee won’t even allow the words “radical Islamists” to pass their lips! I am surprised that will use the term ISIS as the first word in the acronym is Islamic! Mr. Obama says that ISIS is contained – hah! Meanwhile more than 1,000 Americans have gone to Syria to join ISIS, and the FBI is currently investigating about 900 suspected terrorist cells in the U.S. If that represents containment, I won’t want to be around if they’re really let loose and running amuck!
ISIS has sworn to hide their operatives in the Syrian refugees – I believe them – only a Pollyanna idiot wouldn’t – but Obama wants to bring them to America. The thought of what is going to happen in America saddens me: it is just a matter of time – days, weeks, or months – before the carnage in Paris is repeated upon some dinner patrons in a large American city. And what is our president planning to do in preparation to avoid the death, bloodshed and agony which will certainly come? Why, he encourages us to be patient while he kicks the can down the road for his successor to deal with.
Isn’t it amazing how one misguided or perhaps deviously motivated individual can frame the events of human history? You will note that I did not say “leader.” Attacking global warming or climate change, fighting domestic energy production, and siding with blacks who whine extemporaneously like spoilt brats is not leadership – it is the dodging of leadership by deflecting attention to side issues.
Americans are frustrated with our president’s lack of leadership. Even the liberal journalists who followed Obama to Turkey were obviously exasperated with his lack of passion or concern. Maybe the other shoe must fall and it is America’s turn before the mainstream media comes back down to earth with a dull thud and stops loving the politically correct brand of liberalism and mollycoddling Mr. Obama.

Why Islam is a Religion of War -- Islam derives meaning from physical supremacy, so war becomes an act of faith. To believe in Islam, is to have faith that it will conquer the entire world. And to be a true Muslim, is to feel called to aid in that global conquest, whether by providing money to the Jihadists or to become a Jihadist.
The fulfillment of Islam depends on the subjugation of non-Muslims so that violence against non-Muslims become the essence of religion. When Hamas states that, “Killing Jews is worship that draws us close to Allah”
They are not perverting a great religion, as our politicians claim, they are living it. Everything they do is based on the Koran, the body of Islamic law and the greater history of Islam.
What the Ten Commandments are for the Jew, or the resurrection of Jesus is for the Christian-- the physical dominance of Islam is to the Muslim. It is the basis and fulfillment of his faith.
Jihad is the force that gives Islam meaning. It is the deepest expression of faith.
To its followers the validity of Islam is directly connected to its physical supremacy. As followers of the purported “final revelation” to mankind, Muslims not only have the obligation to conquer and subjugate the rest of the world, their religion is meaningful to the extent that they can carry on the work begun by Mohammed. The Jihadis who massacre non-Muslims are missionaries of their faith.
Anything that suggests Islam is not absolutely superior becomes blasphemy. When Muslims explode into outbursts of violent rage over seemingly petty things like a cartoon or a video, it is because to them, any loss of face for Islam is the worst kind of blasphemy because it challenges its supremacy.
Truth and power in Islam are identical. It is not a religion of the oppressed, but of the oppressors. Mohammed’s prophecies are validated by his conquests. The truth of Islam is seen in the expansion of Islam. When Muslims succeed in killing non-Muslims, they prove the truth of their religion.
That is why Muslim terrorists shout, “Allahu Akbar”, “Allah is greater.” The old Mohammedan taunt aimed at Jews was then directed at Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and all the world’s religions. By killing their non-Muslim victims, the Muslims proved that Allah was greater than their gods.
Islam does not co-exist, for its followers its truth can only be found in conquering non-Muslims.
Whereas most religions can accept being in the inferior position because their fundamental faith in spiritual, rather than material-- Islam has little to it but the material. Even its paradise exists in the form of the sort of physical pleasures that its followers crave, fancy robes, exquisite banquets, golden couches, and of course that famed appeal to the dedicated Jihadist, “curvaceous virgins… and an overflowing cup” (Koran 78:33-34). Islamic Heaven is a grossly exaggerated version of the kind of loot that Mohammed’s followers expected to find by following him in the first place, gold, jewels, silk, spices and young girls.
