Americans are slow to stand up for what is right. Just because this is mistaken for apathy by the political elite, they need to understand that our memories are long. They will be held accountable for their actions.

Imagine if we could someday remove “stupid” from Congress and government, as a whole, and if we could replace it with the “good of the people”, setting aside our personal aggrandizement and greed…?
We cannot remove stupid from Congress without first removing stupid from the voters. Voting has become a means to get free sh_t for over half the country. We all know what happens next.
Trying to change human nature by giving the offending individual(s)a chance to make a choice of stopping or correcting bad behavior is like trying to scrub the spots off a leopard. I assume everyone is familiar with the “seven deadly sins”. These are human nature based in my opinion. I feel the behavior we are witnessing now reflects those sins. All we can do now is reduced this poor behavior to an acceptable level. The offending folks in power now have to be given a time out. The offending pronoun people in power will not change willing. We dropped our guard or vigilance and are now paying the price of one or more of those sins. Once we take the responsibility for our complacency or what ever you wish to call it, we can get on with correcting the problem. Just say-in, get involved in preserving our Republic.
You cannot preserve what is already lost. The basis of our Constitutional Republic has been overthrown. This is not a debate or a means to initiate a dialogue. Our taxation, regulations and two tiered justice system are now undeniable. What is most egregious is that they have indoctrinated our children into their Socialist/Communist illusion of utopia. God help us and guide us as we restore (not preserve) our Republic.
Point made and point taken. Now all we need is some sort of leadership if in fact President Trump either fails or is a shill.
Why are people so eager to submit to a new “leadership” to replace the old “leadership”. Our forefathers had a very limited government in place after the Revolution. It took another decade before the Constitution was written and later adopted. Imagine a government which is restricted to its most basic duties: secure borders and the protection of private property. But then the evil known as Washington, D.C. would not exist and we would be free.
Yes…unfortunately we do. I was just enjoying a moment of wishful thinking. It’s about all that’s free today.
