I receive a variation of the following email regularly. Although it is obviously a scam to get a person’s bank information, it does generate revenue by people who share two common traits: they are stupid and greedy. Please send it to any politician that you feel meets these requirements.

Business Proposal
Greetings,
My Name is Mr. Godfrey Williams. I work with Security Company here in the Republic of Ghana and would like to present a Business Proposal for your consideration.
I have five metallic trunk boxes of US Dollars deposited to our company with a total amount of US$85,500,000.00 in cash.
The boxes in question have not been claimed by the Foreign Beneficiary for a period of ten (10) years. All my efforts to locate the Beneficiary in his Oversea’s Address proved abortive. Therefore, I am looking to find a Partner to claim the consignments with a sharing ratio of 50-50. Should you be interested, you are hereby advised to send me your direct telephone number for discussion of this offer in full details.
I do hereby anticipate your response as soon as possible,
Thank you.
Respectfully,
Godfrey Williams
