When the SHTF this “center” will be over-run by the idiot factor in society.

Charity is a *requirement* for those who truly adhere to Christ’s teaching… but even charity must be administered with wisdom.

With very limited resources, we may be obliged to split families. That is, telling the idiot liberal advertizing executive and his mall rat of a wife that we can take their children; but they, as adults, will have to make their own way.

There will be no point in trying to explain to them that they have come empy-handed, and with no appreciable skills, and that there is absolutely no reason to believe that they have any capacity to adapt to the new reality, whatsoever. In short, they are practically useless. Worse, their worldview makes them an incredible liability to the continuity and survival of the entire group. Their children have only half a chance, depending on their age and how spoiled they have been…

Hard things will need doing. The above is not nearly the hardest you may be faced with… preparing yourself is not all about stuff. Some of it is about hard introspection and prayerful decissions, made in advance, so you’ll know what to do, without hesitation, when certain situations come upon you.

Because hesitation kills. Hesitation gives unmanaged time to problems which will destroy your operational status. Hesitation communicates weakness, at the very times you most need to project strength…
