I’m a former Army JAG Lawyer. MILITARY personnel are tried at a military courts-martial.
Military courts have no jurisdiction over civilians.
Civilians charged with “treason” are tried in CIVILIAN courts – the trial would take place in a federal district court.
“Treason” is defined at Article III, Section 3, US Constitution.
I agree with the attorney. As much as I’d like to see the entire DNC and Obama previous administration hand from ropes Pompeo comments were only a tribute to Nuremberg 75 years ago. Do to tie these 2 events is misleading. Now on the other hand if Insurrection were deployed all bets are off where martial law would be invoked. I could imagine traitors being renditions and litigated at discretions Of POTUS and Military. But this only an opinion.
