The Kent State massacre – when government troops loaded their rifles, affixed their bayonets, and charged a crowd of unarmed protesters, ultimately firing into that crowd killing 4 students and injuring 9 others.
No one was charged with a crime afterwards – not the National Guard soldiers who fired the shots, nor their officers, nor any official from the university, town, or state police. No one took responsibility for the killing and maiming of unarmed civilians who did nothing more than engage in the rightful use of their God-given, constitutionally protected rights. No one even took responsibility for the fact that the soldiers had loaded their rifles and affixed bayonets.
Pause and think for a moment – over 100 soldiers loaded their rifles and affixed their bayonets as they prepared to face an unarmed crowd of students. Understand: bayonets are for en-masse hand-to-hand combat – the most brutal, horrifying dance of death known to man. Carrying M-1 rifles with bayonets affixed gave those guardsmen the most intimidating appearance possible, as well as preparing them for ultimate violence, and every member of that guard detachment knew it.
Ordering them to lock and load with affixed bayonets was essentially giving them license to ‘do whatever needed doing’. As a First Sergeant I served under used to say, “when the bayonets go on, the gloves come off“. Yet we do not even know who gave the order to those troops to affix bayonets and load their rifles, nor who participated in that decision ‘further up’ in the civilian authority structure of the university administration, city, and state government, nor why they chose to play hard ball with those students, on that particular occasion. All we really know about that day is who died, and that it can happen again, and probably will, because no one was ever held accountable.
This is all relevant now because DHS will commit the next Kent State massacre, and again, the groundwork has been well laid. Over 2 Billion rounds of ammo procured for use against American citizens, all the body armor and riot gear for the DHS “officers”, the ‘specialized training’ which focuses on treating civilians as enemy combatants because of religious and/or social beliefs. Again, the message is clearly being sent to ‘do whatever needs doing’ when the time comes.
DHS rolls with their weapons loaded and ready to fire. REMEMBER THAT. From the moment you see DHS agents, you know that your life is in immediate danger. I can only advise you to act accordingly.

~Those who abuse Liberty, sentence themselves to Death!
Clearly, Kent State showed how tyrannical the government can be…
on the other hand, if they’d done that at all the hippy demonstrations, we might not be in such bad shape today.
The problem with “free speech” is it effectively prevents value judgements on that speech. If you could have shut the communist professors up, you might have prevented the dominance of “progressivism” over the last 50 years.
Of course, this same tactics can work the other way, ask the East Europeans.
Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.
Ask yourself why no one was charged with the killing. The administration was protecting the dirty rotten pigs who killed innocent protestors, right?
The fact is there were leftist snipers in the crowd shooting at the National Guard troops. The guardsmen returned fire and fixed bayonets so they could get through the crowd. Standard procedure. The protestors were caught in the crossfire, a very great tragedy that was brought on by communist agitators to further their agenda, to get us out of Vietnam, they succeeded with the cost of innocent unwitting American lives who were just exercising their Constitutional rights.
The same thing will happen if anyone goes on Adam Kokesh’s armed march to
Arlington, not because the police are evil but because communist will be in the crowd and they
are evil and they will make it happen all over again.
Why do you so-called liberty minded patriots keep posting all this communist propaganda about
how evil the police and military are? Haven’t you learned anything from the past or are you just
a provocateur like Adam Kokesh?
Did they get the snipers?
@Dave
Could you please provide a link to a verifiable source(s) for your allegation: “The fact is there were leftist snipers in the crowd shooting at the National Guard troops.”
From 7 May through 14 May 1970, I was a net control operator at amateur radio station W2UC (Union College, Schenectady NY). We handled college-to-college news distribution and personal-message traffic from across the US during the national media “blackout”.
I do not recall hearing of any confirmed sniper-related gunshot injuries to National Guard troops.
A THEORY was tendered, from analysis of damaged audio tapes made some 40 years after the event, that sounds like gunfire were believed to occur prior to rifle fire from the National Guard.

I have never seen any facts presented that support this theory.
So please share the “facts” that support your allegation.
Hans, I don’t make “allegations” and I don’t need to supply any facts.
It wasn’t shared with the public because even with advance intel, it was a
law enforcement failure. There was a covert team enroute to stop them
who did not arrive in time. You think thats something worth bragging about
to a Union College, Schenectady NY, 18 year old amatuer radio operator?
Allegation:
* the act of declaring something to be true
* an assertion made with little or no proof
Dave, I don’t doubt there were communist agitators in the crowds at Kent State. I am reasonably certain that it was them who inflicted the damage to shops downtown and burned cars in the days leading up to the massacre, as well as starting the fire in the ROTC building. I am *certainly* not taking their “side” in the matter.
Nor am I making any assertion that “all” cops or military are bad. Quite the contrary -- just as at Kent State, of the 100+ soldiers dispatched to disperse that crowd, only a dozen opened fire. I suspect there will be a similar ratio in the next such event.
The fact is that, whether by complicity or by accident, the college administration and the local authorities played right into the hands of the agitators. Beyond drawing the conclusion that we are about to see ironically similar circumstances play out once again, I make no particular judgment about the event’s details or ‘color’ -- I wasn’t there and don’t claim to be an expert on the history of the event. What I am speaking to are the prima fascie circumstances which produced a very avoidable tragedy.
DHS is being primed and pumped to regard American citizens as dangerous, criminal, and unworthy of their civil liberties, just as those national guard troops were. Do you disagree with this statement?
Agitators of the same ilk as those who staged the protests at Kent State (and the entire “summer of ’68” rioting spree) are up to the same foul tricks across our nation. Social, political, and economic pressures are mounting and our society is profoundly polarized. Certainly, there are elements with influence in the government who want a violent outbreak such as this to coerce support for further trespass against our liberty. Do you disagree with any of these statements?
Under the circumstances, don’t you think it prudent to point out the risk of participating in any “protest” or “rally” which such agitators may bend to their dark intents, with an outcome similar to that of Kent State?
“Act accordingly” is not a particular course of action. Rather, it is a call to employ strategic thinking and exercise heightened awareness to one’s surroundings and circumstances so as to avoid being an expendable pawn in a winner-take-all game of revolutionary stupidity. Can we agree on these points, at least?

“Notice that our main subversive adversary, socialism, knows that it takes 15-20 years to subvert a culture and that it requires control of the education process. The people who are most susceptible are the ones who
already have a gripe such as poor and criminals and people who believe that all police are pigs and need to be shot. I have no use for people who generalize about any group of people. Groups like racist or Nazis or
people who have no use for police. That is one of the first groups attacked by socialist in a culture, eroding the public faith in the civil police. If you want to lose the coming domestic conflict in US, keep trying to turn the public against our police. I can promise that once the smoke clears you will not like who next comes to power. He will make Obama look good. Remember everyone said how Obama made Carter look good?
The next one will be even more harmful to this country than Obama, if we don’t take back our culture.
I advise you to start learning what to do to help restore freedom and liberty and stop the dysfunctional destructive things that our main enemy is happy to see us doing.”
