Response to Protesters Holding the U.S. Flag Upside Down

More…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If now is not the time to fly the flag under distress, when is? Our nation’s government has been usurped, the Constitution is no longer relevant inside the Beltway and we are over $100 trillion in debt. And yet the two individuals upset over the truth have no problem trashing the 1st Amendment. So much for their oath to protect the Constitution if they did serve in the military.
I had always heard the upside flag was a sign of distress. If this country isn’t in distress than I don’t know the meaning of the word. I appreciate what the servicemen did in “rescuing” the flag but maybe they should have known about the distress issue too.
All servicemen receive training on standard signs of distress, including the display of a US flag upside down. Either they are knucklehead soldiers who don’t pay attention in class, or they are posers who have never served, and thus organically ignorant of such things…
Either way, their response does not bring honor upon them or their community.
Looks like those marines need an education session on our current events.
I was watching Fox news last night a heard them use the word “hippie”. Fox said there were some “hippies” demonstrating up the street and this was one of them that had the flag upside down. I find it interesting that when the flag is upside down it became a “hippie” issue again. I thought all the “hippies” were gone years ago. I’m 64 and remember them. I haven’t seen one in years.
