SF1: What Is Misinformation?

Father: Son, come here for a minute.

Son: What did you need?

Father: I wanted to know if you knew what “misinformation” meant.

Son: I suppose that means someone is lying to you.

Father: The classical definition is “false information that is spread, regardless of intent to mislead”. Do you know what propaganda means?

Son: I suppose that means someone is lying to you?

Father: Close. Propaganda in this country today means lying to you to achieve an agenda. Do you understand the difference between misinformation and propaganda?

Son: I think that is a trick question.

Father: I guess you are right. After the presidential coup, there is no difference. Do you know who the Surgeon General is?

Son: No.

Father: Do you know what the Surgeon General does?

Son: No.

Father: That’s okay. Most people do not know. The Surgeon General is a figurehead for the government supporting their agenda. I wanted to talk to you today about their agenda for COVID-19 and their vaccinations.

Son: Is this going to take long?

Father: You have the rest of your like to understand what I want to tell you. You know that we have decided not to have the family vaccinated. Do you know why?

Son: Because the government is lying about the vaccine and its side effects.

Father: Mostly. The truth that can be verified by the government itself proves that the vaccines are responsible for many side effects and deaths. But the Surgeon General is telling us that their own information is misinformation if we repeat it.

Son: You mean the Surgeon General is lying to the people?

Father: Yes. The same way that Dr. Fauci lied to us about masks, hydroxychloroquine and the true origin of COVID-19. As more information comes out about the pandemic, effective treatment and who is responsible for creating it, the more the government must ensure that we do not hear the truth. Their goal is to make sure that the truth is censored or labelled as misinformation.

Son: Okay. So why are you telling me this?

Father: Because misinformation is their tool to ensure that you will be enslaved in the future. You do not understand what this really means which is why I wanted to talk to you. Misinformation is the basis for dividing the country so that we fight each other instead of uniting against a common enemy.

Son: What do you think will happen to us?

Father: That is why I am talking to you now. I do not think you will be able to understand how bad it will be if we do not win this fight.

Son: Are you talking about a civil war?

Father: I am talking about fighting evil so that you will be free. If we lose, you may lose everything. I want you to consider this carefully and we will talk more in the future.

That is very good commentary. It gets to the crux of what is going on quickly, and succinctly. If I still had minor children I would keep it and tweak it to suit my individual needs.

I loved the part where he claimed that “misinformation” was reducing our freedom tomake decisions…so surreal

I have 3 kids, 2 boys, one just registered for SS.
Thanks for sharing. Its a hard subject to talk about. Some kids are already feeding information to the enemy. Sad, but true.

At this time, TPTB are calling on “Big Tech” to essentially silence any and all dissension on COVID vaccines. So for now, they want to silence people who are speaking out online.
Next, TPTB will call on other forms of “Big Power” to silence any and all dissension. Anyone injured, or anyone speaking out about a family member who was injured or killed by a COVID vaccine, will be silenced. What has history taught us about silencing and controlling a population?

Well done. However, a reader might think or get the impression that propaganda and misinformation are two mutually exclusive subjects. Misinformation is part of propaganda.
Propaganda can be total lies, which is what most people think it is; but it can be also be part truth and part lie. And further, propaganda can even be true statements made to confuse and set up the subject to be more responsive for later lies and half-truths.
Not trying to discredit anything in your well written piece….just trying to help readers see the levels of subterfuge used by propagandists to influence behavior and attitudes.
