I met a lady from Ukraine two nights ago. She is a proud citizen of the United States of America ( her words!!) and has been for 33 years now. She travels home frequently and was in Ukraine when the Russian stuff started. Took a month to be able to leave. I can’t imagine….
I asked her for her brief view on what’s going on in Ukraine. She rolled her eyes and “do not believe anything your corporate news stations tell you. It is not as they report at all. Some places in the country are fine. And she said “old Soviet Union that (she remembers) is back.” She no one is on the side of the people.
That’s interesting cause, aren’t governments really and truly established to take care of their people- meaning safety?? She says no. She said we are approaching the second holocaust which will make the first one look like a kid’s movie. This time it won’t specifically be your religion or beliefs that “get you”.
She think Z is only a paid actor…. all interesting. Wish all of you could have met her.
