Sic semper tyrannis is a Latin phrase attributed to Marcus Iunius Brutus, one of the people who assassinated Julius Caesar. It can be translated as “Thus always to tyrants”. It is a shortened version of the phrase “Sic semper evello mortem tyrannis” (“Thus always I bring death to tyrants”).
John Wilkes Booth is believed to have said the phrase after assassinating Abraham Lincoln.

Governor Northam is not able to distinguish what the founding principles of Virginia are in the above cartoon. Some things never change: the Democrat party was built on slavery and it still requires its sycophants to stay on the plantation to be subservient to their masters.
Is it strange that tyrants adopt the antithesis of Liberty as one of the first steps to consolidation of power? Let’s hope that the people of Virginia will restore their vigilance against tyranny and set an example for other states. I fear only the Lord but I am concerned that the various sh_thole states and cities “governed” by Democrats are already lost.
