Movement set to hold marches and rallies in towns large and small across the country; government increases train and bus services in preparation for the protests.
Social protest movement organizers were preparing to launch the “March of the Million” in several cities across the country on Saturday evening.
The demonstration is being billed as the climactic street protest of a movement that has seen tent cities sprout up and forced quality-of-life issues into the forefront of the political debate.
The complete list of participating cities in Israel is shown below but the rally in New York City starts at 2:00 PM.
New York City: A demonstration will take place in Washington Square Park at 2pm (Eastern Standard Time).
