Here it comes. $100 per barrel for oil. And then some. Today it jumped to $92.71 per barrel for WTI. Gasoline futures at $2.68 and rising.

Needs verses wants.
Been thinking on this some more and i am sure electricity and many of the things we have come to rely on are wants.

There are many places in the world where people have to use motor scooters, motor bikes, or bicycles. I suspect we may see more of that here. A lot more. I’m on my way to pick up a sturdy mountain bike. It has multiple applications, if you catch my drift.

I retired from an electric utility after 30 years of service and worked in fossil fuel plants as well as nuke plants which our company owned, and we were having electric shortages in the early 1990’s and I can emphatically state with first hand knowledge of this , our equipment and distribution overhead and underground were worn down,Dave is correct . the power wasn’t there then and it’s not here now, they save entire cities by shedding the load when there is not enough power and when they do this it effects hundreds of thousands of people, and they always do it in areas where it is low income and moderate income areas and they do not care one bit about people. it’s even worse in our day, I know there game and how it’s played and it’s very dangerous to innocent people who are struggling. It’s not like the money is not there for them to build more fossil plants, it’s our federal communist government as well as our state and city communist c officials that forbid them. I have witnessed some r& d projects where they push cold water thru special flange orifices and on the other side it comes our 120 degree hot water with no electric required , just air as well as continual home generation with out any fuel what so ever to run your entire home for free, free energy. Big utilities have this knowledge and it’s locked up never to be released, here is the kicker it’s 1930’s technology , simple pumps and simple generators coupled together. You will never see this as well, it’s all because of there filthy greed and subversion of our nation.
The people better wake up fast because what they will do is begin to cut power off for one day , then eventually two days and do until you are down to one day per week, these are sick and demented people out to hurt people. Prepare yourselves with solar power and an emp protected equipment to protect your system from an emp or major solar flare. Well I will stop here for now because this can get exhaustive with data and facts, wood stove is good like Dave said but you need a little more back ups
God Bless and May he guide us all

Thermo electric cooling or heating theory has been around a long time, it started being used in scientific labs, was put on nuclear subs that had unlimited power. And it is used in portable coolers you can buy, the same material used in making chips for Electonics. It is also used in outer space, in my trade hvac/r most of my work involved electricity I would say 70% electrical 30% mechanical. It can get exhaustive I understand.

I have personally witnessed testing on a non fuel generator that is the size of 4′ x 4′ cabinet which can generate over12 kw of power for every home, the larger the home the more they upgrade the KW by ramping up the generator spec’s coupled to the pump with minor changes .once activated the unit it would decoupled from the start up power soure and it runs on it own , permanently until you decide to take it out for service if needed which would be at very long intervals.

Absolutely do not think “our Republic” is going to be restored.
First we have a famine of Biblical truth, then the food famine will most likely occur.
Tom have you also noticed how the Shootings and “Gun violence” are being moved back up to the front burner?
i hate it when a good gun goes bad. humor
