A beautifully stated view. I agree with many of your points. I did not vote. I feel the system cannot be fixed. A broken piece of crystal forever pasted together will not work, in my view. The Trump lockdown was my warning.

Martial Law is a restriction of all constitutional protections and freedoms.
I don’t want to speculate or offer opinions, since I am not privy to the intel that led to this decision. I will say that it sounds like shenanigans are afoot.
Biden has promised to “ensure a peaceful and orderly transition” for the Trump administration. Then again, he promised he wouldn’t pardon his son.
So will we hear something like, “After much soul searching I have decided that we cannot allow the destruction of our Democracy by allowing Donald Trump to take office. Therefore, I have directed the military to…”?
