Well it was damn nice of the Ukrainians to arm the cartels with our weapons. What a joke.

ISIS was told and killed!
Telling them in advance makes them all get together and less hunting and more for the buck when the fire lights up

“We’re just here to train them”. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

Yeah, there is no way they’ll transfer that training right to the cartels when demanded to do so (plata o plomo, anyone?). Right? RIGHT?

EXACTLY— train others to do what you need to do??? We don’t need to train others what to do to keep it off our soil anymore , it’s already here!! Start training our own people and arming ourselves, unless you’re not paying attention, we’re paying for this! I’ve said it before I believe here and other places, -what’s in your local national guard armory ( if you have one) ,that’s our stuff to be used for our selves …. Yes??? So how does one use it for our country? ( guess some won’t understand that weapons the citizens pay for are to be used by the citizens to defend them- thus my question is how do CITIZENS access what’s paid for)

Mission creep has always been a problem.

Ukraine shows how hands on “training ” often becomes, with American troops Doing the Mission.

Afghanistan and Iraq shows how vulnerable American troops can be as they are “embedded ” into “trusted Troops ” and find out bribery can sell them out.

In the Dox and information age soldiers family’s can be in the front lines against terrorism. Not like we have plenty of useful idiots to give aid to their “down trodden poor people ” and so on.

It’s not like an overseas operation with hundreds of miles of ocean keeping “silver or lead” away from your family.

Previously special ops were not allowed to bring weapons in country -- Presume that is no longer the case -- or that they can simply use radios to vector in air strikes (finally)

BIG mistake. We train these forces then the cartels will buy them. That’s how Los Zetas cartel began. Former military who used their training to become effective criminals. Training them will simply magnify and expand the problem.

Not a good time to visit Mexico. Once a trigger is pulled against the cartels, any American will become a target down there.

Word. The stupid Americans who continue to vacation and/or preach the Gospel in that corrupt septic tank of a country will be kidnapped and held for ransom. And then .mil will have to go in and rescue them. This will not end well.

This military activity is a two way street. How many cartel members are in the US? Common street gangs in the US are foot soldiers for the cartels in our cities and towns. There are plenty of US border town politicians and police departments working for the cartels. Then you also have the Mexican racists (La Raza) living in the US that will take exception to any action against Mexico. Could this be the beginning of “The Reconquista”? Aztlan taken back by millions of Mexicans in the US? Think.
