I really think Elon and Vivek need to get together and spell this out such that us dinosaurs from the last millennium truly understand what they’re talking about.

It could be that we simply need a more careful explanation of why they need to import the kind of engineers of whom we simply don’t have enough at present to accomplish the goal of bringing manufacturing back to the USA. If Steve Bannon is this quick to get tough on them about it, it ABSOLUTELY has to be a failure to communicate at fault.

I think if Bannon understood them fully, he’d be giddy with the bright future they’re trying to bring about. OR maybe I’M misunderstanding them, but I don’t think so. I think we seriously DO NOT have enough of the right kind of engineers BECAUSE there have been no jobs in the USA for them.
