September 11, 2011 marks the 10 year anniversary of the attacks on our nation in New York City, the Pentagon, and on Flight 93 that was lost on a Pennsylvania field. The 9/12 Project was formed as a remembrance of who Americans were on the day after those devastating attacks. On 9/12/2001 we came together as one America. We were not unified by our political party, the color of our skin or the religion that we practiced. Instead Americans stood shoulder-to-shoulder in their grief that brought us all together. We were united by the principles and values that made our nation the greatest nation in the world.
The 9/12 Project will observe the 10 year anniversary in NYC at the Liberty House Restaurant in Jersey City overlooking the Manhattan Skyline on Monday, September 12, 2011. Our program will start at 5:00pm with passed hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and a fantastic selection of food stations. We will honor the victims of the attacks, share in remembrance of how the event brought us together, and acknowledge those volunteers throughout the country who have dedicated themselves to the principles and values of The 9/12 Project.
We are working hard to put together a great program for the evening. As the event gets closer we will have more details about special guest speakers.
