This shot from X is missing the phrase that runs across the top panel of the original….without the beginning words, this image does not “read” graphically (with correct meaning). Go to the original on X to get it all.

Yes, I would rather learn from old civilization. I find great joy in remembering yesterday’s America. It was not perfect as nothing is. The America we are living now is a hell realm.

That’s how my son was taught from all the old books and mostly home schooled by his mom. our church at the time had a home-schooling program wherry the parents volunteered their time to teach and be in class, I believe we had over 30 students at that time in the church being home schooled. my son went on to graduate with a history/law degree and then became a police officer for a while and then quit that job because he complained they never let him do his job the way he was taught at the academy, they wanted then men to be social service policeman, so my son told them to go stuff it. Now he earns six figures per year working for private contractor under contracts from the military.

Your son was fortunate to grow up in a solid traditional home. What a wonderful life he had abd lives now. Many blessings to you and your family. The children today -- many are lost.

“It’s a good rule after reading a new book never to allow yourself another new one till you have read an old one in between. If that is too much for you, you should at least read one old one to three new ones….Every age has its own outlook. It is especially good at seeing certain truths and especially liable to make certain mistakes. We all therefore need the books that will correct the characteristic mistakes of our own period…. None of us can fully escape this blindness, but we shall certainly increase it, and weaken our guard against it, if we read only modern books….The only palliative is to keep the clean sea breeze of the centuries blowing through our minds and this can only be done by reading old books.”
C.S. Lewis

The picture doesn’t need a caption. The picture speaks for itself. These are my people. They are my history.

Nope you are missing the exact idea, not just some hazy, indefinite idea of “the way things were in days gone by”. What’s missing is not a caption, it’s a “pointer thought” to the EXACT reference.

I understand. But my opinion still stands. More than one point is applicable. Peace.

And prepare to protect them.

Protect your trusted friends and trusted family.

Family is those that have your back.

In response to Jane
I also find joy in remembering the America that was . This spring my wife and I will celebrate fifty years together. My generation was fortunate to have been raised in the time we were . We were raised in an entirely different country than we find ourselves
today . As we plan our celebration we realized our generation had the best music and the best cars .

Congratulations to you both. It was the best of times. As I look around our country today, a deep sadness fills my heart.

Begin with the Bible and then collect all the good reference books you can. When things get bad you certainly won’t have access to the internet and you probably will not be able to use a computer either. The Bible is essential for wisdom to survive in these last days and other books can provide needed knowledge.

I got the edit option this morning but when I tried to edit it said, “You cannot edit as marked as SPAM, if this is in error contact the Administrator”.

Also, it seems about 1/3rd of my messages await approval. Happy you approve them, but it seems odd what does and doesn’t do that.

Did the Jews also bring this? Is this “Christianity” spreading around the globe?

Follower remember how BIG your God is.

Those with eyes to see and ears to hear will hear HIS Message.

What they CHOOSE to DO with it is called Free Will.

Philippians 2:12-30
King James Version
12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

17 Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all

Follower remember that GOD knows the future and our hearts.

2 Timothy 4
…2Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction. 3For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. 4So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.…
