The racist label has been applied to anyone that the other side wishes to marginalize. So if someone is actually a racist, then it is alright until they can clear their name? How do you clear your name if you are not a racist? I had 30,000 Internet posts a few years ago labeling me a racist because I stated a fact that the 14th Amendment was not legally ratified. It did not matter that the 13th Amendment outlawed slavery. The up side: I made the SPLC’s list as a hate group. I never did understand how a man could be labelled a hate “group”.
