Years ago, Mr. Limbaugh made the observation about celebrities and actors such as the above mental patient. He said, as I remember, these people spend their lives pretending to be people they are not. Their roles are just that, roles, fantasy, the “let’s pretend” we all did as children. So, the only way they can define themselves as adults in the real world is by taking up “causes” -- Supporting certain politicians or hot-button issues such as ALAR (Meryl Streep), gun confiscation (Rosie O’Donnell, Liam Neeson, et. al.), the green agenda (DiCaprio, et.al.) and other ideals.
What they do not realize is the public with the possible exception of ignorant teenagers, does not take them seriously. And now, with the advent of social media and Memes, the ridicule and blowback are world-wide. When I read articles about this pathetic, washed-up buffoon who still has to work because of New Yawk alimony laws and child support for his bastards, I just shrug: “Not my circus, not my monkey.” I’m too busy getting prepped for the real problems facing this corrupt, syphilitic-thinking country which are just about to overwhelm us.
