Those who pull the chains of our form of “capitalism” are getting wealthier and wealthier while we who vote for them get feel good placating while the knife slides home.

People feel good when they cast their vote. Especially when their “candidate” wins. But what happens when these politicians sell their souls (and our country) to stay in power? We will not vote our way out of this. After the ashes settle, let us rebuild a moral country and not repeat the errors that history shows us now but are ignored.
And I bet some Nebraskans voted for Ben Sasse because, as a “republican”, he’d “have to be better” than the democrat candidate.
Which shows the fallacy of voting for the lesser of two evils.
