A good friend of mine–Vietnam War Vet–Dr. Robbie “Kip” Kipping once said to me “Nobody hates or fears war more than a soldier…”. Don’t know if that was an original expression from him, or if he was quoting another, but I don’t believe that truer words on the subject were ever spoken…
