The Pragmatic Musings of an American Nobody Trying Not to be Evil

The Pragmatic Musings of an American Nobody Trying Not to be Evil

by Doug “Uncola” Lynn:

.

You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you. Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones. Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor…

– Ezekiel 28: 15-17

To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Originator of God’s creation. I know your deeds; you are neither cold nor hot. How I wish you were one or the other! So because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to vomit you out of My mouth!  You say, ‘I am rich; I have grown wealthy and need nothing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked.

– Revelation 3:14-17

It’s been said the greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was to convince the world he didn’t exist. And, subsequently, perhaps the next greatest deception ever perpetrated on earth occurred when Fractional Reserve Banking was invented to create money out of nothing. Bubbles are created from thin air; as are the dreams of those who measure wealth by the fading fumes of fiat currency.

Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher once said: “The facts of life are conservative.”  By definition, “facts” are real. Therefore, Thatcher’s quote could also be translated as: The realities of life are conservative.

Typically, conservatives do, in fact, try to live according to values and principles that have sustained people through the centuries: by telling the truth, acting honestly, producing more than they spend, saving for a “rainy day”, living on a budget, and fairly giving back to their communities by paying taxes and practicing charity.

It should also be acknowledged that “old school” members of the U.S. Democratic Party, like those who would have supported John F. Kennedy six decades ago, would be considered as “conservative right-wingers” by those Americans embracing “woke” ideology today.

It’s been true throughout history that most of those who have upheld conservative values have believed in God, and the Devil, and that the conception of evil exists in reality.  Even conservatives not as… shall we say…divinely inclined, will still acknowledge the hard realities of truth and falsehood as well as the manifestations of evil in human interaction.

But, what is evil, really?  In nature, when a predator devours its prey, is that evil?  No, of course not. That is merely nature – the cycle of life. Animals have no moral code, or value system, beyond survival. They cannot be judged or blamed for striving to survive. They are, after all, just animals.

Being a conservative or a liberal is not the current problem. Being a conniving predator like politician is the current problem. Anyone that wants to be an office is most likely a conniving predator like politician. Those that seek power are only seeking power to serve, not their Constituents that serve only themselves. They don’t even serve one another unless it benefits them. That is what our entire political system is made of, conniving predators praying our tax dollars.

I agree. We have come to a fork in the road where honesty trumps hurting someone else’s feeling or risking sounding too extreme. Politicians largely are in the field for career advancement and wealth accumulation, not service.

  1. 1.) We need to immediately remove all treasonous office holders from federal positions. Think mass impeachment for treason.
  2. 2.) We don’t need the federal government that now exists. Return the salary and staffing to the states for national elected officials, with the ability to recall them at any time, or at will.
  3. 3.) Remove money or budgeting powers from the Congress and replace it with digital vote by every voter. (Use the cell phones as a means to monitor politicians and allocate funds by the people)
  4. 4.) Each state takes on the responsibility for their own borders and militia.
  5. 5.) Dissolve the US Department of Education and return governance of schools to the communities, particularly the parents.

There are other measures that could be taken rapidly to regain control of our country, but you get the idea. But it is time to speak out loudly about politicians and their behavior, the abuse of power, our power, destroying America’s good name, and stealing our wealth.
