Society- Wants
Government -- wickedness = man’s government without the absolute True God.
God provides our needs. Sometimes this entails punishment and consequences all driven by His Love.
Needs vs wants is one of my most memorable lessons from High school General business class i believe.

The founding Fathers, prayed and sought guidance from God, they were studied men and knew the failings of man. The constitution, Declaration of Independance and bill of rights reflect this. We are born into sin and the seven deadly sins tell us so. The checks and balances of the Republic were ignored by evil men wanting to do evil things and now we are suffering the consequences, especially by removing almighty God. A Republic if you can keep it, truth.

Our government is truly wicked. Nuclear war looming, food shortages, travel becoming more difficult, speech limited, no choice in who we decide to lead us, and a bevy of lawless leaders. Only God’s grace can save America.

Pretty much says it all. Government is really men looking to control men. It reminds me of a quote from Walden,

“But, wherever a man goes, men will pursue and paw him with their dirty institutions, and, if they can, constrain him to belong to their desperate odd-fellow society.”

What Paine said is true. When Israelites pushed for a man-king, God warned them of the evils they’d be in for. Nevertheless, (some) men love government. A very strange and powerful manifestation of Stockholm Syndrome, IMHO.
