I contacted Tillis on the Ukraine funding, boarder bill, etc. and this is a portion of his reply. “Regarding our nation’s strategic interests in Ukraine and Taiwan, this package will backfill our own military stockpiles and provide Ukraine with the lethal weapons necessary to degrade Putin’s invading forces and hasten an end to this war. More than half of the money spent to assist Ukraine actually goes to our military industrial base in the United States, and it also modernizes our nation’s military arsenal by replacing older and outdated equipment we send to Ukraine”.
The other parts of the reply were just as much BS.
