Vibrancy in Los Angeles

Be happy if you don’t live in or near a big city, even a mid-sized one. Import the third world, become the third world.

Of course, the police are still there to investigate hate crimes and prevent people from defending themselves. It’s increasingly obvious that not only are the police not a solution to the problem, they are an inherent part of the problem. If you read the LA real estate agent’s comments in the original post, it gives you insight into the mind of a blue state tag along liberal. two things stand out. One is a complete disconnect between the cause and effect that lead to the problem, just like in the recent wildfires. The second point is that she is looking for urgent unspecified “help” from someone, somewhere to resolve the problem. It does not even enter her mind that her safety is her own responsibility.

I was born in LA. Grew up in the SF Valley. Went to Catholic grade school and high school and graduated from SFVSC-now CSUN. The deterioration was, like in all big cities, gradual. With the advent of the turmoil of the 1960’s, the influx of wetback union-busting labor, democrat politicians taking power, and over-all societal corruption, the situation described above was inevitable. This is why the exodus of the working-class whites will continue. Sad.

Yea I remember when Tom Hayden became mayor of Santa Monica, he was one of the founders of SDS, students for a democratic society. He got rent control passed and it was downhill from there on, him and Jane Fonda were romantically involved, both communists rats.

Back in the mid 90’s I was TDY at a Air base in Germany. On a Hanger in giant letters “Diversity is our Strength”.
