h/t Wes for the above video.
I understand the President’s message today concerning non-violence. I am not condoning violence. I just want to know what other options are left now that the Republic has fallen to Communists? I doubt Americans will go home and wait for the knock on their door as what happened in the Soviet Union.
Here are a few quotes from the Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn:
“We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.”
“No, the old proverb does not lie: Look for the brave in prison, and the stupid among the political leaders! ”
“You only have power over people as long as you don’t take everything away from them. But when you’ve robbed a man of everything, he’s no longer in your power—he’s free again.”
“What good is freedom to you! If you’re free, your faith will soon be choked by thorns! Be glad you’re in prison. Here you have time to think about your soul.”
“Unlimited power in the hands of limited people always leads to cruelty. ”
I believe it is time to listen to some advice from a man who has the experience of life in a Communist country. We have seen the rapid pace of implementing a repressive regime over the course of a few days. We have the foreknowledge of what is to come if good men do nothing. We have good advice from people who have fought against tyranny.
We are facing evil. We are told to be silent even though we are the majority. In our case, “not to act is to act” will result in a future of enslavement.
What does the Bible say?
How do we become strong?
The path forward for now: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not into your own understanding. Unfortunately, the evil we face will require action to defeat. How violent that action will be determined by the enemy.
David DeGerolamo
Violence is ALWAYS an option. Usually not the best option. But sometimes it’s the ONLY option.
Violence is the direct expression of political will. Just as politics and war are two sides of the same coin violence and negotiating are two sides of the same coin . When two parties disagree and one of them doesn’t want to negotiate or compromise but instead insists on having everything there way then the other side has no choice but submit or resort to violence. But violence is ALWAYS an option.
Violence is a tool of self-defense.
Election fraud on “We the People” IS the ultimate vandalism & violence!
How many people as Beck is saying understand that Peaceful does not equal silence?
In Joel why did it get to that point. The Boiling point.
Joel 3:10
That verse seems to be held up as a moment of honor? i believe a closer look may reveal more.
Bonehoeffer was never silent. He seemed to follow The Messiahs message quite well.
What did they, (He) gain by the three ‘attempts’ upon Adolf Hitler’s life? Why did the table leg prevent Hitler’s death?
Violence may be a mind set? My weapons are my tools!
