What Does the Bible Say about the Virginia Governor’s New Task Force?

Image result for significance of 18 in the bible bondage

As outlined previously, the governor of Virginia is asking $4.8 million to fund the creation of an eighteen member task force charged with enforcing his proposed plan to confiscate commonly owned firearms categorized by lawmakers as “assault weapons”.

Each employee would receive (in salary and equipment) $266,666.66. What is the significance of the number 18 in the Bible?

From Biblestudy.org:

The significance of the number eighteen in the Bible comes from its symbolic meaning for bondage. After taking possession of the Promised Land, the children of Israel were in bondage to several nations and peoples before Saul was made king. Two of their enemies, Eglon the Moabite king and the Philistines (with the help of the people of Ammon) oppressed them for 18 years (Judges 3:12, 14, 10:7 – 8).

I wonder what kind of American would serve on this task force whose sole purpose is to usurp our right to bear arms under the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution?

Some of his globalist opportunist buddies, no doubt. Probably must be willing to kick back some of that loot to the party to get job.TET.

The task force will most likely be lawyers. With orders to sue officials who will not enforce. Then when they win their court cases it will be federal thugs who do the sweeps in your neighborhoods

Absolutely. These numbers show our Father’s thumbprint on all these events. As Lawless says, let us seek His mercy always.

I wonder things too. What are their names, where do they live, when do they sleep, where do they shop for groceries, how many second tier family members do they have, where do those family members live…..

I just left this over at the Captain’s place.

” I see people think he is budgeting the 4.8 million to just have 18 guys enforcing this “law”. I think they are mistaken. These guys are to be the core of a new weapons control and enforcement branch of the Attorney General’s office, like the drug enforcement units. They will be the leadership. If the locals won’t enforce this he will create a group that will. This will only be the seed, set to grow as large as needed to “enforce” this monstrosity. He is planning to force this into being. Funny how the Dems have become the thing they claim to have opposed for years. Straight up Fascism.”

What kind of people are coming for us? Evil and worse than us (as we perceive it.) The question is does God use these types of people for a reason? Will he allow them to overcome us?
Has he done this before, and why?
Why would he bring an evil force such as these liars and manipulators of all Truth against, “His very own people?”
This seems to be happening within this nation and outside of this nation.
Nation against Nation.
Simultaneously.
Are we as a people as a Nation being Judged yet again?
Is it just our Nation or is it a world wide judgement?

Something inherited from Mike V over at Sipsey:

The short answer.

Mike Vanderbough: “I was once asked by a citizen disarmament advocate, a follower of the Bradys, what I thought about more firearm restrictions. I began to answer when he impatiently broke in, “Give me the short answer.” I replied, “Okay. . . If you try to take our firearms we will kill you.” All the fellow could do was stare at me in disbelief. This is the restated meaning of “shall not be infringed.” Some people, however, have to have it translated for them. Believe me, the NRA is the least of the citizen disarmament advocates’ problems.
