Catchy title but slavery should never be tolerated in any form. Slavery ranges from full property where the slave’s owner can kill him or her without any repercussions through the confiscation/extortion of property at the other end. This last form where the “fruits of one’s labor” is taken without compensation is what led to the American Revolution.

I will not be buying any more Western Digital hard disks based on this information. It is our responsibility to ensure that slavery in any form is not tolerated. Buying products because of a lower price due to slave labor reduces our personal and national morality. Are the same values that built this country to be relegated to history in order to have a material possession?
