Powerful words. My guess is history will always rhyme because people are complacent, apathetic, mindless and compliant. They are “just doing their jobs”.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
   Because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
   Because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
   Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

There is not need for an SOS, there is a need to stand up and stop it. Stop waiting for others to fix what you allowed to happen. It is time for Australia to stand up.

What will I tell my grandchildren, Nothing, I am not sure I will live long enough to see them.

Australia, YOU WILL NOT HAVE GRANDCHILDREN! Unless everyone stands up and demands that they stop, and the time for talk is long gone.
