Between the original Amazing Grace and In The Garden are my most favorite hymns. They never fail to almost bring a tear to my eye. Thanks
You do show your age when you break out Anne Murray.
It is a great rendition of the song, Anne Murray does it justice.
I am glad. I am old. Many never make old age. I am blessed.
Was just joking around. I also remember her.
🎬🎶🤣
So am I. Thank you, Jesus!
So beautiful a reminder that He is as close as my breath. Thank you for sharing. 😌

Ann Murray was one of my favorite singers. Back then, women were soft and lovely -- wanted to be married and have a husband to love and respect. It’s tragic what has happened to the American family.
I grew up down east in Carteret County. In 3rd grade our classroom rehearsed this hymn to sing at our teachers church for their Revival Week.
All but 2 students attended the church service… Public School 1975…
I grew up in Raleigh, N.C.. I attended Myrtle Underwood Elementary on Glenwood Ave. In my 6th grade class, taught by Mrs. Holland, each day was started with a student reading from the Psalms or Proverbs. After that, Mrs. Holland would have us all sing a hymn while she played piano. Thank you, Mrs. Holland, I know you’re in heaven.
I thank you for posting this. It brings back such wonderful memories of my mom who played guitar and loved to sing hymns with her sisters and brothers. God’s blessings to all his beloved, all over the world.
I’m 82; and I hate it when a song makes me cry.
Tears of pure joy, my friend. God bless.
Sung at my Mom’s funeral. At her request as we planned it years earlier. Beautiful.
