Huge cities like this are not the future, except for those who choose to live as bugmen in a dystopian hell on earth. Perhaps there will always be large urban centers, but no self respecting human will want to reside in one.

Of course, that doesn’t change the fact the FUSA has been largely destroyed by those in positions of power.

There are several good yt channels showing how poorly china’s infrastructure really is. Everything is govt controlled and run by bribery. They do not care if overpasses fail, buildings fall with a thousand people inside, or new cities crumble in 3 years.

They fake pandas, they fake waterfalls, their martial arts are fake, they have nothing that is worth emulating.

What they do excel at is subversion of nation-states with dollars and honeypots. They also have numbers on their side. 2/3rds of them can be wiped out, and they would still outnumber all of N America.

A bigger house of financial cards than even the US is built upon. Go to a Hollywood back lot. Lots of wonderful fronts with nothing behind any of them. All for appearances. Not just shoddy quality (buildings collapsing all the time over there), but its all built on fiat and debt while hundreds of millions are starving or being employed as essentially slave labor.
