Why the State Fears the Legacy of the South

How will you die? A morbid question but we now live in times where the actions of man and the state cause sentient people to reflect upon their principles, integrity and Sacred honor. There are only two answers to this question:

1. On you knees

2. Fighting

You can never appease evil or believe the sweet lies from its mouth. I know that dying on my knees will cost me everything and everyone that I hold dear.

Patrick Cleburne

At the battle of Franklin, General John Bell Hood told Cleburne to make a frontal attack on an entrenched position. Cleburne tried to persuade Hood but Hood disagreed.

Just before the attack General Daniel Govan told Cleburne, “General there will not be many of us going back to Arkansas after this battle.”

Cleburne said, “Well, Govan, if we must die, let us die like men.”
