Looking back at the posts on NCRenegade over the past two months shows an overwhelming number of COVID-19 articles. People could not (and many still do not) understand exponential growth patterns in a biological system. We were (and still are) accused of fearmongering. I understand. What else would account for sounding the alarm as it was, when there were so few cases in the country? We were told the threat was minimal and that we did not need masks or to buy food by the CDC. However, now it does not matter what we were told, what we wanted to believe or why the government’s response was delayed.
What does matter is why we were presenting information and warnings when there were few cases in the country and the number was not increasing. The answer is simple science: based on what I (and Chris Martenson) saw in China, the spread across the world was a certainty without a vaccine. The above graph shows the exponential growth in its beginning stages in the United States. This shows that without a Wuhan type shutdown in the country, the growth will continue exponentially. How do I know? Look at the news concerning young people on Spring break in Florida. Do you go out with a mask, goggles and gloves? Do you see people around you taking measures to prevent the spread of the virus?
I want to point out the correlation in the above graph between confirmed and infected. This shows that we are testing people who are symptomatic only. The number of infected is much higher.
I want to be very clear: this is not a post to declare: I told you so. This is a plea to self-quarantine no matter what the cost is financially. This is a plea for people in charge of their families to force them to make the sacrifices to stop this epidemic in the country.
What is the time frame? The “experts” are finally starting to admit that 30 days is a minimum quarantine period. If you want to understand what is coming, look back. Look back at where we were, where we are and do your own projections. I know that a large part of the blame is the failure of our educational system at all levels. But that should not prevent you from making your own conclusions and acting based on facts and science. The number of infected will be in the millions in less than two weeks if the country is not locked down. Our medical care system will be overwhelmed this week.
A vaccine will be fast tracked but it will take months once its efficacy is proven. Hydroxychloroquinone will help people recover but it will not slow down the epidemic. We are in the beginning stages of exponential growth. Projections are 40-80% infection rates if we do nothing. I say “we” because the government can only do so much.
For those who fear government overreach once they assume total control, I understand. What I don’t understand is why the government should be put in this position. We should have the fortitude ourselves to do the right thing. For those who are still worried about the economy and/or their personnel savings, I can only hope that you recognize that sacrifices must be made. My personnel belief is that the economy will collapse worldwide and that fiat currencies will become worthless.
We can always rebuild and I would not want to be in any other country than the United States at this point. Let us show the world “IN GOD WE TRUST” are not just words.

Now that they’ve found the panic trigger you’re going to have to get used to alot of medical lockdowns! Every flu season we see millions of cases. And thousands or tens of thousands of deaths. 23 thousand so far this season. So if covid 19 warrants massive lockdowns then so will the flu every year until the media and the deep state can get one of their own back in power!
You missed the point completely. I previously wrote about the number of projected dead based on a best case scenario. It is in the millions. One of the points of this post is to show that we are just entering the exponential growth phase.
The problem with graphing exponential growth is it exhibits a ‘fractal’ quality … self-similar and scale independent.
Regardless of the absolute magnitude of the largest value, once the remaining data is scaled to fit a page, the graph always looks the same.
People focus on the rate of change of the slope at the extreme right and panic … OMG lookit that!
Will “it” be bad? Yes, and for many reasons unrelated to the virulence or spread of the virus.
Rabbi’s point is valid and should not be easily dismissed. Once power is obtained, it is not easily released. What government can do once, it can do over and over … (forever) …
I agree. The graphs will look the same unless you have training to understand the Y axis scale. I just watched Cuomo detailing New Yorkers out and about in crowds today. The people don’t care or understand. I would say you can’t fix stupid but the replacement of education with indoctrination has consequences that we cannot escape. The rabbi’s point is not valid as the government would not be able to lockdown the country for the regular flu.
As you just sent me, it is time to put up my feet and wait for this to pass. It will just take longer to burn out. 6-8 months at least.
Next crisis … It’s not ‘the regular flu’ … it’s mutated … it’s different … OMG … give us power … we will protect you …
Same song, different event.
This may be moot. If events keep going on this path, we may have no government left to worry about.
Amen Hans. Next move is vote by mail. And that equals president Biden! Were better off without all the hysteria. there is no suce thing as containment. only treatment. I do suggest you all remember there is only one who determines when you live or die. So trush His judgement and if you are afraid then pray for comfort as for me and my house we serve YHVH! And no other.
I was on the roof of the Med Center last night working on an exhaust issue for an isolation room. The Med Center now has its first case and it is in the children’s hospital not the adult hospital. The Med Center is empty of those who are “nonessential”. I hear rumors of being required to stay on the job. I thought to myself why am I doing this? I thought about the health care that my wife and daughter have because of what I do. I am just “another brick in the wall.”
A very special and precious brick. I thank you.
To David, I am excited to see the performance of the G-axis (God’s axis). It will be unchartable.
“For those who fear government overreach once they assume total control, I understand. What I don’t understand is why the government should be put in this position. We should have the fortitude ourselves to do the right thing.” The thing is WE do have the fortitude to do the right thing. But we also know there are idiots and leftists who wouldn’t know the right thing if it smacked them up side the head. And we all will pay the price.
I don’t trust the government and I certainly don’t believe them. For them to take advantage of this crisis is appalling. And we know they are & will continue to do so.

Well said David. We actually have been in exponential growth since February, but the numbers were so low it didn’t resonate with most people, including our “leaders”. Regarding your point about hydroxychloroquinone, I was very hopeful that they are starting the use in New York on Tuesday, but I had not considered that it certainly won’t slow down the epidemic… I believe you are right and that is very troubling.
I also want to point out that the “flu” does not cause tens of thousands of deaths every year… we have been gaslighted by the constant drumbeat of this non-fact. The CDC says so itself -- from an article linked below: “Most people who die from seasonal flu-related complications are not tested for flu, or they seek medical care later in their illness when seasonal influenza can no longer be detected from respiratory samples.” In a typical year 2000 die of actual influenza, while the remainder die of myriad causes, mainly pneumonia from any number of reasons, mostly NOT the flu.
Here’s the article about the flu: https://constitutionalhealth.com/health-policy/how-many-people-actually-die-from-the-flu-each-year.stml
We have completely locked down here… no more Ingles, no more Lowes, no more anywhere (except the pharmacy for live-preserving medication for our son). We even have several cases of evaporated milk for when we run out of milk (soon now) and half-n-half for our coffee, of which we are not gonna run out of that anytime soon…
I worry about the electricity, as we simply ran out of time to get our solar up…
