He had no intentions of draining the swamp. That should have been quite evident when he let Hillary go on the treason committed in Libya. He had the whole swamp on treason and could have removed them and not heard from them again. But, it was time for her and the nation to heal.

If the swamp is to be drained, The People will have to do it. Wait, that is what the Constitution states.

Good question. My thoughts are currently they are but far from completion. Ergo going after Trump and the fencing and troops guarding the swamp and creatures residing there. I have a thought though. What if the fencing and troops are not to keep out the conservatives? So far we are all keyboard and no real action. The Washington protest was not a threat. People were peaceful. They had to use leftist plants to stir up much and then it was…..not so much. Note the histrionics in the press to gin up support of their position.
Perhaps the fence is there to keep out the leftist. Those guys have burned and rioted all over, including DC. The swamp creatures recruited them with false promises of a Stalinist utopia. So they helped the swamp and then were quickly dropped when no longer needed. Maybe the BLM/Antifags are the real threat to their hold on power. It would be poetic justice if the commies took down the swamp creatures. I believe they thought they could control the crazies but now know how unstable they are. They are afraid.
