The CIA’s Worst-Kept Secret: Declassified Files Confirm United States Collaboration with Nazis
These are “not just dry historical documents,” insists former congresswoman Elizabeth Holtzman, a member of the panel examining the CIA files. As far as Holtzman is concerned, the CIA papers raise critical questions about American foreign policy and the origins of the cold war.
The decision to recruit Nazi operatives had a negative impact on U.S.-Soviet relations and set the stage for Washington’s tolerance of human rights abuses and other criminal acts in the name of anti-Communism. With that fateful sub-rosa embrace, the die was cast for a litany of antidemocratic CIA interventions around the world.
CIA ‘SCANDAL’ REVEALS POLITICAL ABUSE OF POWER
From the CIA website:
By MAS. GEN. THOMAS A. LANE
WASHINGTON-It would be a serious disservice to our national security if recent revelations of CIA subsidized left-wing activity were written off. CIA does what Presidents tell it to do.
Why Intelligence Agencies’ Abuse Of Power Should Be A Litmus Test For The Right
Last year, President Trump claimed his campaign had been spied on, and was roundly ridiculed. Now we know that not only was the Trump campaign spied on, but at least one human intelligence source was used—a person widely and publicly known to be associated with the Central Intelligence Agency—to try to get Trump campaign people to admit to collusion with Russia, an allegation for which there is still no evidence after two years of investigation.
US Meddling in Foreign Elections: A CIA Tradition Since 1948
In a shocking display of relative independence from the post-Operation Mockingbird control of the media by the Central Intelligence Agency, a recent article in The New York Times broke with current conventional pack journalism and covered the long history of CIA meddling in foreign elections. A February 17, 2018, article, titled, “Russia Isn’t the Only One Meddling in Elections. We Do It, Too,” authored by Scott Shane – who covered the perestroika and glasnost for The Baltimore Sun in Moscow from 1988 to 1991 during the final few years of the Soviet Union – reported the US has interfered in foreign elections for decades. However, a couple of old US intelligence hands were quoted in the article as saying the US meddling was for altruistic purposes. The CIA veterans charged that Russia interferes in foreign elections for purely malevolent purposes. The belief that American interference in global elections was to promote liberal democracy could not be further from the truth.
Our intelligence agencies have one objective: increase their power and budgets by any means necessary. There is no rule of law: they make the laws and we dare not question their abuses. Are you waiting for the “rank and file” to stand up for the Constitution? You have a better hope in believing the media’s propaganda orchestrated by these same intelligence agencies.

I dont trust this drug running and murder, inc. agency as far as I can spit, and i still recall from the 1970’s this communist infiltrated intelligence agency under congressional hearings for there crimes against the American people and the reprimands they received to fix the agency, but nothing was fixed it just waxed worse and worse since those hearings. there is no one in that filthy depraved agency that is a freedom loving american right down to there bar stools. this agency must be defunded and closed down permanently, it’s a menace to our citizens and our Constitution. we need a new agency to replace this depraved one with trusted people who love freedom and our way of life.
The author obvious has had a long career in national security and intelligence. Probably operating from some secret outpost located in the faculty lounge of some elementary school in Portland or Amherst.
