Yet Another Pagan Ebenezer

By Wyatt Thomas:

Monuments have been erected as remembrances since time immemorial. They testify to the mighty heroes, great victories, and revered gods of civilizations long past.

After the Children of Israel crossed the Jordan River on their way to the Promised Land, God directed Joshua to set up twelve stones as a remembrance and “teachable moment” for future generations. “That this may be a sign among you, that when your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean ye by these stones? Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.” (Joshua 4:6-7)

Proverbs 22:28 instructs: “Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.” These ancient landmarks were boundary stones which marked territorial inheritance and delineated borders and cultural divides. They were to be left untouched in respect to the legacy of those who had come before and to direct future generations’ daily interactions

None of these memorials were graven images or idols in violation of the Second Commandment. Even the ancient Tabernacle and Hebrew Temple were adorned with figures of angels and of nature. These monuments were signs of honor, not idolatry. So, too, are the statues and shrines our nation has traditionally erected to memorialize great leaders and events from our own history for future generations. They have an inherent power as an embodiment of our stored cultural memory.

Because we are in engaged in spiritual warfare and Satan is an inversion of all that is good and honorable, our Enemies Within are on a rampage to eradicate all that has been revered in our society. The latest such travesty is the “NOW” atrocity which has been placed atop the Appellate Division Courthouse of New York State. Resembling a pagan fertility goddess complete with a Ruth Bader Ginsburg style collar, this “work of art” represents the destruction of our patriarchal society by a cadre of Karens who hold child sacrifice as the holiest of rites.

Those who rightly mock the obvious hideousness of this statue often fail to notice the underlying spiritual battle which lies at the heart of this controversy. The site for this idol was chosen by a committee headed by NY Judge Dianne T. Renwick who led the fight to suspend Rudy Juiliani’s law license in retaliation for his efforts to fight voter fraud. Judge Renwick sees erecting this Golden Calf as the opening salvo to topple all the great men of the past from their rightful pedestals in the name of freedom, equal rights and justice: “As we seek to broaden the visibility of less-often-recognized contributors to law and justice in our society, what better way to start than with the figure of a woman? Women are foundations of our society. Throughout history we have been champions for freedom, equal rights and justice. For the first time since the Court’s historic opening well over 100 years ago, the figure of a woman finally and rightfully will stand on equal footing with the male philosophers and lawgivers who line the other pedestals. This type of collaboration is unprecedented in New York State and we are very excited about this endeavor and the possibilities for other courts.”

The creator of this artwork Shahzia Sikander is a Pakistani-born diversity hire who sees her work as part of an “urgent and necessary cultural reckoning underway as New York…reconsiders traditional representations of power in public spaces and recasts civic structures to better reflect 21st century social mores.”

The woman this statue memorializes, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, was an ACLU hack who is now reaping her eternal reward in an extremely warm place after a lifetime spent enabling Communism, advocating for the murder of the unborn, and doing her utmost to destroy our nation. This is the type of woman the Left believes should “finally and rightfully stand on equal footing with the male philosophers and lawgivers” who created Western Civilization.

This monstrosity has been placed atop the Appellate Division Courthouse of New York State which was built in the 1890s as part of the City Beautiful Movement. At its grand opening in 1899, the New York Times described this building as “one of the most chaste monuments of art in the metropolis.” Decorated with stunning mosaics depicting our legal legacy and classical statuary honoring the notable men who guided its development, this was the perfect target for the Woke Brigade. It is the embodiment of all they seek to destroy.

And now an 8-foot abortion idol stands atop a court of law in America’s largest city. The Left have removed our nation’s ancient landmarks. They have annihilated the boundaries. They have torn down our monuments and enshrined their symbols instead. There are those on our side who will just mock this latest “artwork,” or, worse, shrug it off as “just a statue” not worth even quibbling over. There are those who will point out the demonic symbolism of this effigy without realizing the implications of how right they are. The ones who set up these totems are not “stupid” or “insane” or “crazy.” They are intentional in their pursuit of Evil. Their goal is to eradicate our history, our heritage, our nation, and us as a free people.

The public square is not neutral territory. It will reflect the religion and values of its citizenry. Long gone are the days of “just live and let live.” The Left will no longer grant us that option. We compromised with Evil and this is the result. The ancient Israelites were instructed as to how godly people are to deal with the monuments and memorials of the ungodly: “And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.” (Deuteronomy 12:3) These idols are a blight on our land and an afront to our godly heritage. But to those who are determined to remain “loving” and winsome in the face of encroaching evil, this command is too harsh and dismissed as not applicable to us today. This is why we continue to cede more territory. This is why our children now have pagan idols on the public square and a rewriting of our history as their “memorial forever.”

After a God-intervened victory over the Philistines, the Old Testament Prophet Samuel “took a stone, and set it between Mizpeh and Shen, and called the name of it Ebenezer, saying, Hitherto hath the LORD helped us.” (I Samuel 17:12) As the line in the time-honored hymn Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing so beautifully declares, “Here I raise my Ebenezer.” It’s time to recognize the true nature of the battle in which we are engaged, repent and seek divine intervention, strive to overthrow these modern-day Philistines, remove their pagan Ebenezers and restore our own.

Excellent commentary, thank you Wes for posting this one.
Now let us determine a way to cede no more territory to the evil that abounds in our country today.

I think you have displayed the perfect set of Christian values. Ignorance of your own religious origin, name calling when it’s pointed out, and lastly cut and run when you can’t defend your position. So well done, in Jesus’s name!

Do you do that on Dec. 25? Who is your king? Suturn? Tammuz? Ammon Ra? Yule? If you claim the God of the Bible and his son , why go before him with un authorized celebration s. Why not go to him on the days he commands? Do you suppose he no longer cares about the holy days he celebrated while he was here as a man? I’m disappointed that christians erase the word of Elohim and think they have license to act exactly like pagans.

He clearly doesn’t understand, or is not aware of, the origins of his religion’s holidays, but then that has been my experience with many Xns.
Same as how they like to equate pagans and paganism with their Satan, which is funny because pagans don’t believe in Satan or the God versus Devil paradigm.

Will,
Probably not the best way to reach hearts and minds. Of course not sure which way is, many are still not willing to listen.
Both Christians and Jews, From what i can tell both sides seem to honor days and ‘traditions’ in ways they need not and perhaps should not.
mans traditions do not = Yah’s traditions. Just because we do it of it is legal does not make it good nor right.
Galatians 4:10 for starters.

So Rabbi, are you saying you’re ok with this pagan idol being prominently displayed in New York? You’re a Jesus hater… would have fit right in perfectly with those first century Jews who murdered the Son of God. Sorry for you… He’s ALIVE for evermore! BTW, Say Hi to Ruth Ginsburg when you see her!

The idols of New York are many. I have no control over it. If I ever do. I will rid that city of ALL idols and all who worship them. Clear on that? Also I am a Hebrew born anew Messianic that is. So I don’t hate God’s son! However you are calling him the wrong name. So maybe he will think you hate him. I will not be the one to Judge Ruth. Neither will you. But based on what I saw from her the meeting she will have with Yeshua may not be to pleasent for her.

We can all knee jerk until the sun dies a heat death, but evil will not be lessened. I would strongly suggest to everyone on the planet that they learn how to gain the Heavenly Father’s authority. Until then, we are just spinning wheels in a Minnesota frost boil

Ant the statue celebrates the whores getting paid for their services (cash undeclared wages) and may need abortions which medicaid pays for most of them, since most draw welfare benefits anyway.

New York has a long history of erecting statues to pagan gods. Have you ever read about the history of the Statue of Liberty? For example, see the essay “Our Great Goddess and Her Coming Idol” published in the American Catholic Quarterly Review, Volume 5 in 1880. (It’s available for free on Google Books.)

Looks to me like a AI driven-still yet morphing golden transhuman bot with a mostly male looking head and a female looking body! Logic says it looks like a unnatural and soul stealing creature from beyond anything created by the one true GOD of mankind. Maybe it’s really supposed to represent a type of fallen angel that’s meant to seduce and absorb your soul so as to become stronger and more alluring to all those who look at it with desire and hunger for it’s touch! HECK, enough of this BS from the LEFT! Put it down while you still can, double tap that bitch!!! Go with Happiness for we on the right are DIVERGENT and SHEEPDOG’S for the weak at heart and mind… Onward and forward…stay Frosty…Watch each other 6… Strength and Honor…IMUA

This was an excellent article. I thank you for posting it.
Whether it be the tearing down of memorials that are part of our nation’s shared historic and Christian culture, or the erection of pagan statues that glorify satanic rebellion to God’s righteous and eternal laws, the goal of the left is always this: to wipe Christian-based, Western civilization from the face of the earth.
And unless they are physically stopped, they will succeed.

“The public square is not neutral territory. It will reflect the religion and values of its citizenry. Long gone are the days of “just live and let live.””

Hospitals, educational institutions, medicine, food and water (the quality and accessibility thereof), the arts, money, the workplace, individuals, families, groups and people groups, are but a fraction of what makes up the public square, and by implication, the public square means communal in nature, i.e., and by extension necessitating a social contract. None of these capacities are agitated for except by niche groups who have largely the social media presence and funding which are often not representative of the public at large. Hence, all power is continually yielded to the satanic side, which is only representative of part of the problem. The other issue that should be largely apparent to people is that the individual races such as black and white seem to hate their own, i.e. ghettos and chronic and systemic poverty throughout the churches, rampant divorce and abortion. There is no public square where there is abortion, (because an entire segment of society is negated) except that of representing satanists and their interests, and why many throughout society don’t respect organized religion. It stands for nothing except acquiescing to the mandates and directives of those with power and money (their freemasonic overlords). Attitudinal bowing has become a habit over many decades.

“Live and let live” is another way of saying “do what thou wilt” which is representative of Aleister Crowley’s philosophy and teachings, pointing out that people don’t understand the spiritual meaning behind this phrase (it essentially denotes all things are secular or relative) and is very much an active philosophy today. It’s secular humanism in mainline Christianity, broken families, alternative lifestyles, capitalism and the Constitution (they work for those who can afford it, rendering it relative and revolving around situational ethics).

the only sane option is to refuse to generate taxable income, or for the more daring- tax fraud, in order to omit any personal enfranchisement into the public square.

sadly, these daemon egregores are the fruits sown by the backsliders who have made it an issue by erecting the carven images of 10 commandmants, crosses, and proto-christian idolatry from the ancient roman transistion.

worse yet, some with a bold heart will say, no king but king jesus, and the immediately swear fielty oaths to pillowcase idols of red-white-blue. avoid bewitching of the earthly powers and principalities, surrender to cesear his voting registration, driver license, etc that he assigned to you.

learn about parallel / counter economics. divest yourself from the mob hastening down the wide road.

Ya, let’s just forget about what motivated the UDC to build so many statues in Dixie, goddess Hekate. You know, guardian of cross-roads like NY harbor.
Goddess of Pharmakia and Prostitution, her symbols are the torch and ‘book of spells’ (which is actually botany, as she protects humans from poisonous plants). While the rotating hourglass has been lost in time, the symbol of a skull and crossed bones still represents poison today. (something to do with her relationship w/ Poseidon) <make one wonder the relationship to pirates.
May be from Hecet, Egyptian goddess of reproduction (pharmakia being related). Associated with frogs, as they reproduced in abundance after the flooding of the Nile. KEK

Reason the left is gaining ground and more people is the fact most patriots are either too old or passed on and most people just don’t give a hoot who is in charge.. So few today who are able bodied, have basic knowledge of facts (who is doing what, names of elite and their org., informed on our rights, bills/laws being pushed, etc) The Uniparty now rules, the leftists republicrats and dem. are in charge, congress is bribed and only a few will speak out now. Nihilism and useless hobbies prevail among 90% of adults (phone addiction, social media, trash TV shows, texting and celebrity news 24/7) Churches 501c3 are muzzled and sold out to globalism, mainly social centers with no Biblical teachings (few exceptions). America under judgement since 9/11,all the websites and talk shows are in vain as is voting in decades as country deteriorates. There will be very few who won’t comply to our rights being taken as planned. Most will comply and do anything incl family separation and enslavement because they are cowards and dimwits.

So, how do we remove this eyesore from our view, and most importantly, from God’s view? Remember what happened to Dagon, the Philistine god when the Ark of the Covenant was seized and brought into Dagon’s temple? The idol fell on its face and broke into pieces! We need God to throw this horrible idol down, preferably on top of its creators.
