Hundreds of thousands of student loan borrowers will now have an easier path to getting their loans discharged, the Obama administration announced Tuesday.
The Department of Education will send letters to 387,000 people they’ve identified as being eligible for a total and permanent disability discharge, a designation that allows federal student loan borrowers who can’t work because of a disability to have their loans forgiven. The borrowers identified by the Department won’t have to go through the typical application process for receiving a disability discharge, which requires sending in documented proof of their disability. Instead, the borrower will simply have to sign and return the completed application enclosed in the letter.
If every borrower identified by the Department decides to have his or her debt forgiven, the government will end up discharging more than $7.7 billion in debt, according to the Department.

Sadly, the majority of them are worthless to society, having majored in ridiculous thing’s like “African-American studies”, “Gay & Lesbian Literature” or even more outlandish tripe.
What happened to accounting, statistics, chemistry, engineering, medicine, and all the other useful arts and sciences?
The answer is obvious – the number of students in those programs hasn’t risen much in the last 20 years, because only so many have the mind suitable for an actual profession which requires such advanced education.
The rest of the increase in college and university attendance over the past 4 decades has all been in these worthless “majors”; contrived by Fabian socialist freaks who have never lived outside accademia, never produced a damned thing, or contributed to society in any positive way.
They created these garbage majors for the express purpose of fleecing the prospective students and their parents, and as a reproductive mechanism to send more sodomite socialists into the world.
Yep, its all a big con job. And millions upon millions fell for it, hook, line, and sinker. And it worked so well, that we now have two full generations of college-educated idiots who will never be able to pay back their student loans.
And will this massive write-off impact the colleges and universities? Will it eliminate (or st least reduce) these worthless programs, festooned with overgrown children, whose highest and best use would have been as tradesmen and laborers, because they do not have the mind or the discipline for college-educated professions. Of course not.
The universities will continue to offer this tripe, because it brings in money; just as those who operate the internet will never, ever abolish porno websites – because they cater to a very low common denominator, and therefore are very profitable.

When the time comes, we will need to liquidate every faculty and staff member of these communist outposts, saving those (very) few who are actually of societal value as professors of some useful science, and not irredeemably poisoned with the abominations now so prevalent on campus.
The rest should be consigned directly to the Earth they worship.
