1. 1000s Evacuated As Massive Wall Of Water Surges Through Ukraine After Major Dam ‘Blown Up’

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Images and videos posted on social media show a major dam and hydroelectric power plant in the Russian-occupied region of Kherson, located in southern Ukrainian, destroyed early Tuesday. Water rushed through the dam into the Dnieper River, which separates Ukrainian and Russian forces. Both sides accuse each other of the attack that puts tens of thousands of homes at risk and might even threaten the safety of Europe’s largest nuclear power plant.
In commodity markets, Andrey Sizov, managing director at agricultural consultant SovEcon, told Bloomberg that the dam’s destruction “looks like a big escalation with dire consequences and huge headline risk.” The risk is Russia could reduce the flow of grain exports from Ukraine through the Black Sea in response to the incident.
Wheat futures in Chicago surged as much as 3% on Tuesday. Sizov said, “This could be just the start of the bull run” in wheat prices.
What’s the names of the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse?
At least one is famine another is disease.
Here they come.
AMAZING looks like along with a major NATO exercise including a US Navy Carrier group under NATO Command that suddenly a major dam has been destroyed.
The destruction of the Nova Kakhovka dam on the Dnieper River in southern Ukraine. Russia is of course blamed as Russia blames Ukraine. Environmental terrorism and all those buzz words.
Cui bono? (Classical Latin: [kui̯ ˈbɔnoː]), in English “to whom is it a benefit?”, is a Latin phrase about identifying crime suspects. It expresses the view that crimes are often committed to benefit their perpetrators, especially financially.
Comes to mind. Russia is losing the WATER SUPPLY to Crimea and their naval base; Moscow loses about a 1/3 of their electricity. A Russian controlled nuclear power plant the Ukrainians have shelled off and on for a year is in danger of flooding.
The Famous Wildy Announced Ukrainian SPRING OFFENSIVE must be put ON HOLD as clearly the Russians BLOCKED their all so wonderfully SUCCESSFUL assaults. Oddly aside from recycled prior videos there has been no coverage of Ukranian successes because “OPSEC” LOL after bragging 24-07 in the news and Tic Tok vids on the ground prior.
Interesting times indeed. I’m wondering is the Combined Idiots Against everybody dropped the dam? Like the Russian Gas pipeline incident.
Praying for wisdom
It started but has quickly fizzled with a one-night loss of over 2,000 “troops.” Combined Idiots will point the finger at MI6 who shall say it was partisans. As all roll their eyes.
The above video is from 2022, and is of Ukrainian forces firing on a flood gate, to test the viability of slowing Russian forces, by causing limited flooding in specific areas.
The same tactic was used by German forces in Northern France, in key areas of Normandy, just prior to the 6 June landings.
But you go right ahead, keep on with the childish accusations of “trolling.”
The Ukrainians tried to blow the dam back in November. The Russians evacuated anyone who wanted to go, then the Russians withdrew all of their troops to the other side of the river. The Ukes took horrible losses in the last 3 days of the new offensive. Over 3000 KIA and loss of a huge number of armored vehicles. The Ukes can now move their own troops to try and shore up the offensive further north. It is reported, but unverified yet, that the Ukes are releasing water from another dam upstream that they control. This will make the flooding even worse. The Ukrainians are desperate. And the MSM carries water for them. No pun intended. Also, the hydro power plant at the dam was destroyed totally. No electric for several years to those that relied on that plant. I’m told that there will be little or no water for the Russians in Crimea because of this. Next the Ukrainians will try to finish off the largest nuclear plant in Europe. It’s nearby. The Ukrainians have been shelling the nuke plant area for months. If it goes, you will see nukes fly from Russia to all of NATO and the US. Insanity rules Ukraine.
It requires a lot of daily research to keep up with this stuff. 3% increase in wheat futures because of the dam? The only reason there is a grain deal is because the West promised Russia that they wouldn’t let Ukraine use Odessa as a base to attack Black Sea Russian assets, etc. I count at least 4 major violations of that Treaty by Ukraine. Erdogan of Turkey needed the grain deal in place in order to get re elected. The Russians kept the deal in place for a few more weeks, until Erdogan got his victory. Now the deal is going to be ended. Things are getting real over there. There will be more big stories coming out of Ukraine soon. Don’t believe the MSM. Remember the MSM and Covid?
In a nutshell, it makes no sense either tactically or strategically for Russian to have blown the dam. Considering the implications of the human loss and the other lesser factors, it is likely the Ukes blew it for the eye-wash value to the world. Also looking at the measures that the Russians have taken to secure the nuclear powerplant and ensure its safety with the installation of missile batteries, it again makes zero sense to possibly endanger the plant by this escalation.
