Tyson Foods, Inc. is reporting a significant outbreak of COVID-19 at its Wilkesboro, North Carolina poultry plant. It appears the meat processing crisis is far from over, despite President Trump declaring an executive order weeks ago to reopen closed meat processing plants.
Of the 2,244 workers and contractors at Wilkesboro facility who were recently tested, 570 tested positive for the virus, which equates to about 25% of the staff is infected. Many of the workers “did not show any symptoms,” Tyson says.
This is assuming the tests are accurate. I have read about the testing protocol and there’s a lot of reasons to question their veracity. The timing is noteworthy too. NC sort of reopens and then the Tyson plant is tested. How convenient for the fear mongers.
I would like for you to define fear mongers for me.
Tyson is vested in the pandemic and are motivated to extend the crisis as long as possible.
Tests are BS at this point. “Infected” is BS at this point. The “infective shutdown agenda” is very very serious. If motherscratchers want to play stupid games they will win stupid prizes all day every day.
Serious question. Why all these incidents surrounding meat processing plants? Why not happening at your local chain grocery store, Walmart store, or Lowe’s? Just asking for a friend.
The supposed answer is that the workers are close together and the temperature is lower than normal to keep the meat fresher.
Somehow that sounds very convenient.
