I can definitely vouch for this. I drive from MT to LA and back home weekends. I haven’t been to LA iN 25 years. It is a legit third world country. Dangerous because they have no clue how to drive a truck yet they fly around like banshees running into things. Alot of the trucks are all dented and patched back together.

If there is enforcement at weigh stations, they will probably be clogged with empty trucks.

Eh, I wouldn’t worry. I have seen the line of semi trucks get to the overflow point at some of the inspection stations and the one truck that tried to drive by was immediately chased down. The drivers are going to get checked out and the manifests need to be in order one way or another. We have a problem here in Maine with Illegal Chinese Dope growing operations since our local politicians decriminalized weed and backed the idea of people selling it as a business. The Chinese grow it here illegally and move it out of state for distribution in other markets. This criminal enterprise transport is conducted by illegal alien drivers who may have a CDL issued by New York or even none at all. We had a fatal highway crash that killed a local up hear a year or so ago that was the fault of one of these illegal drivers.

It is a good idea. It is interesting to say the least that sanctuary states like Massachusetts build truck inspection waystations along the interstates looking to enforce weight restrictions designed to safeguard “their” highways. They are staffed by state troopers at random intervals, and the whole thing is really an enforcement shakedown for the state revenue stream.
Enter ICE to enforce immigration and this blue jurisdiction is suddenly forced to co-operate with the detested La Migra, which they will not do at almost any cost. I foresee them kicking the Feds off of the state property where the inspection station is located or even closing them off and not enforcing the program if ICE is allowed to play by court order. It will come down to withholding Federal highway money for non-cooperation and court cases before it is settled. It is still a good idea anyway, because the compliant states will become a huge risk area for illegal drivers and the companies that employ them, and It will be hard for them to find work just within the northeast blue corridor.

Smoke and mirrors:

We’re legally importing many times over what we’re deporting.
Until we stop all immigration, period, this will continue to get worse.
Prosecuting/deporting them doesn’t work, they’ll just leave the country and come back again.

Okay–this freakn’ jeet is local to my AO. Little India is just down the 91 Freeway on the Paramount off-ramp. It is the epicenter for jeets coming into the country, on tourist visas and overstaying illegally. How he got a commercial driver’s license is beyond me as it also entails physical exams and being checked off by the FEDS. The jeets are purchasing up cheap hotels all across California–especially in the central valley and convivence stores. Now that ICE has a big presence in my AO I am looking for a way to rat-out these fools who are flaunting our laws.

I was working for a referral repair service some years ago and a jett (a retired Indian air force officer or all things) came in for training at the end of which he would spend a day with me in the field. The guy was a complete ass-hat and violently argued with me over some trivial point. I stopped the car for him at a rest area in the middle of nowhere–and as he took a piss, I tossed his shit out and drove off. Leaving him stranded in the Mojave desert. I learned later he got deported for some reason. I was real sorry when I learned that India and Pakistan called a true during their latest trouble and had not punched the launch buttons on their canned sunshine–but I was glad to hear India’s air farce got completely waxed by the Paki’s.

The pajeets & the pakis both need to invoke ‘mutually-assured destruction’ so as to cleanse the planet of their ruinous, detestable existences.

I live in Western Colorado. The Indians have been buying up all the liquor stores all over the place. I can’t stand them. Their cultures clash with American values. They tend to be rude and not very friendly. Their stores go to crap in a hurry as well.

Good idea, simple enough to enforce with a simple conversation.
