“What are we going to do?”
I had just run down a litany of issues that are plainly apparent to anyone who has any sense of what is happening in this nation when my precious wife of 42 years and 4 days asked me that question in a moment of frustration. That question hung in the air like a thick fog on a steamy August morning.
What are we going to DO?
For the past six years I have hosted a morning podcast at www.CoachDaveLive.com where we discuss the cultural issues, provide an explanation on how we got in this mess, and determine what we must do to turn things around.
It is a Bible-centered show…but not preachy…and a daily discussion on how our turning from our Christian roots has led to the apostasy masquerading as wisdom in today’s world. Americans, even Christian Americans, no longer love TRUTH. The Truth can be harsh and unnerving and today’s quasi-Christian society loves comfort more than Truth.

In our desire to be tolerant and diverse the Christian world has bent over backwards in our effort to be non-offensive to the Luciferians and those numbnut “Christians” who are unwittingly playing on the Devil’s team. Americans have lost their love of Truth.
How did we get in such a mess…and what are we going to DO?
In a court of law there is a principle called “a preponderance of evidence.” It simply means “more than half.” The jury in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial was not tasked with being 100% sure of his guilt but, rather, that a preponderance of the evidence showed it more than 50/50 likely that he did not do what he was accused of. The verdict didn’t require 100% proof of innocence, simply a 51-49 likelihood. A preponderance of the evidence.
Most agreed with the verdict and some did not. But the PREPONDERANCE of evidence presented to the jury showed that he was not guilty of all charges.

I believe “a preponderance of evidence” applies only in a civil action while “beyond a reasonable doubt” applies to a criminal case (the latter being a more demanding standard to prove).
So, can i say for instance “this gov and elites should be hung, they are traitors”!

David, Wes, Thor and pretty much everyone else that comments on these forum or posts articles are willing to fight. Usually the only difference in opinion is how we go about it.
ok so why do you attack, call names, ridicule whom ever sees a different way, a different path,
If we are of the body? different parts of the body all standing in the face of evil.
These articles and comments that launch into people who are on the same side in opposition to evil are divisive. If this Nation launches into a full scale civil war, what do you and others think the other “superpowers” will do?

I will always challenge different idea and give my own, simply because I’m not a follower. I challenge people that want war with China or Russia. I’ve said multiple time if we go to war with one, the other will join, it will be nuclear and we will lose.

So the name you use in the forum is quite fitting. You “go along to get along” and follow in slavery until you get word from some higher power and then you will follow that. You will follow right along in slavery, let your kids/grand kids be slaves year after year, decade after decade, century after century. You will teach them the same thing -- to be followers and to endure tyranny and evil as you have done all this time.

We have to find that common ground with “the other side”, i hate the LEFT VS right BS… Unfortunately, that what THEY want.. and seems to be working. I’m sure there were people until April 18th 1775 trying to convince people to petition and talk with the British and work it out. Pressuring people not to fight and endure the tyranny. Eventually enough of them were done and set aside their differences and fought for a unified cause.

No where am I telling people NOT to call or email their reps. Just understand the return on your time and energy. They hope that you write and call every day until you die and they sit there getting rich and laughing at us, increasing taxes, getting our kids killed in unnecessary wars, more restrictions/laws and less liberty.

Even Jesus agreed that pacifism is wrong and immoral and people should protect themselves. Nowhere on any of the web pages that broke down Luke 22:36 said anything about the sword being “truth”. I could be wrong but Wes is correct.

Breaking Down the Key Parts of Luke 22:36#1 “He said to them,”
After informing Peter of his impending faithlessness, Jesus turns his attention to the rest of the group. It was time to prepare them for his, and their, greatest trial.
#2 “‘But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag;”
The particular lesson that Jesus sought to teach his disciples when he sent them on previous missionary assignments was that they needed to carry nothing and to trust God for provision. But this was different. They would still be required to trust God to provide, but he would provide through the purse they already had, and the bag they already would carry. Sometimes God defended his people by wiping out enemy armies (2 Kg 19:35). Other times he strengthened the arms of his people for war (Ps 18:34). Sometimes he fed them with bread from heaven or by miraculous provision (Ex 16; Mt 14:13-21), but at other times he blessed the fruit of their labor to produce food (Ps 128:2). The main purpose of the speech seems to be that it was time for Jesus to suffer, which would dramatically impact the nature of their role.
#3 “and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.”
Again, whether metaphorical or literal, things were becoming dangerous. We can at least assume that Jesus does not call us to total pacifism at all costs. In a moment they would point out that they had two swords already. This tells us that a) Jesus had not prohibited them from carrying swords up to then, and b) When Jesus said, “That’s enough” (Luke 22:38) it shows that he is not expecting them to go to literal war against the Romans or the Jews, but could be an exasperated statement, although it doesn’t always get interpreted and read that way.

i agree that total Pacifism at all cost is wrong. What aggravates me is that Wes accuses me falsely of being a complete pacifist. He and others seem to hear what they want to hear , they then label you, and judge you (or me) in these ways. Then they spread this Bull.
Yeah there is a problem with that.
And if you do not believe in god as you put it, we are warned of cherry picking verses and using them to forward our agenda. This is why i said, knowing the context and other verses of the Bible are important also.

I remember when the forces of darkness attacked Coach Dave as he stood for righteousness and common sense. The Soros money poured into Ohio as did the protesters to remove that brave man of faith from his position. Only a few of us stood behind him as the onslaught of evil progressed .
