Adobe is having trouble getting subscribers to use its cloud computing service. We use Photoshop CS3 at work and ran into an issue this week where we could not open a PSD file. You can read the transcript below but according to Adobe, they will no longer support their products unless you are paying tribute every month to use their “cloud”.

This is what happens when support is outsourced to India. Complete incompetent bullshit. These companies THINK they’re saving money over using U.S.-based support but the money they’re losing in lost customers can’t possibly make up for it.
Ah, you got to talk to Amit. You are a lucky one. He actually seemed to kind of understand what you where saying.
I am not following you. The only thing that happened was that after an hour, I was told to go to their cloud. The above exchange did not happen in a short time frame. Are you saying that he understood the problem but did nothing? Or are you saying that I was lucky to get someone who understood English?
I work in the IT field and I get to talk to “Amit” all the time. I am also currently looking for a job and I get 5 call a day from “Amit”. 85% of the “Amits” in the world cannot speak and cannot understand English and have the cappiest VOIP phone there is. It gets irritating after a while and I get a chuckle when someone else gets to talk to “Amit”.
