So very sad. I taught high school English. That book was taught in senior English. I left the classroom in 1995 to become a high school guidance counselor.

“Dumbed down” doesn’t begin to describe the state of our nation -- we have descended to such a state and degree of ignorance, that we do not deserve to exist as a people any longer. And it appears as though we do not have much longer to wait for that Judgement to be wrought upon us.
