If Congress passes another CR (continuing resolution for Sep 30th gov funding deadline), it will do nothing to help the American people because it just extends the same Biden and Schumer government funding and policies and NOT any new district specific appropriation requests.

I wonder what would happen if Trump reauthorized EO 1110 (1963), could be fun….
That would be GREAT! This executive order allowed the US Secretary of the Treasury, as per delegated authority given to the President by the Thomas Amendment to the Agricultural Adjustment Act, to issue silver certificates against silver bullion.
The point of passing continuing resolutions goes back to the end of G.W.Bush’s term. His last official act was to create a $1 trillion stimulus fund. Remember ‘Shovel Ready’ job projects? Well every Continuing Resolution just kicked that such unaccounted money into the system every year, plus the cumulative evvect of increasing the CR by a percentage every year. By now it is over $2trillion per year.
Look at how rich your legislatures and powerful figures have gotten. Look at how much improvement in our infrastructure has been bought with these funds. Decide for yourself where the money went.
There will be no change without prison sentences!
TMK, there is no Constitutional pathway for such. There IS however, a Constitutional mandate for Congress doing the spending bills (Article I, Section 9, Clause 7)
Yes; we should continue to trust in the system that brought us here. (Said no attention paying patriot). I want to believe, but can only stand being beaten about the head and shoulders so much before I start to say ouch and please stop.
Uh, What happened to the Big Beautiful Bill? What happened to tariffs saving the day? At the end of the day it’s just more of the same BS.
