Spot on Wes. But we have been this close before, although you are too young to remember. 1962 . I remember the feeling very well even though I was a teenager.

I urge all of you to listen to SP1, he is very wise for a youngster! This is really serious folks.

Living out side of Chicago during the Cuban missile crisis, we thought we would be the number three target, scary! This was part of the reason I moved to NWA in 1970. The difference then, is we had a leader with his wits about him, and he didn’t want war.

Today is a different story, the POTUS handlers are delusional or want a war. As these same handlers are working hard to destroy America as we knew it, I can only assume they want war! It really doesn’t matter what they think, what matters is what Putin thinks!

Putin knows Russia can’t win a land war against NATO! Once Putin is convinced NATO wants to destroy Russia, he has no choice but to use nukes, the only real question is where, Ukraine, NATO or the string puller the US!

Most of all the stories you all have heard about the whole world being destroyed, by a nuclear war are a gross exaggeration! Russia has shelters for nearly all its citizens. Most areas in the US won’t need shelters, and if you do most will only need them for a couple of weeks. The general problem will be the EMP wich will likly Occour at the start the exchange!

You are going to need some where to grow food, seeds and enough stored food to get you through to the next harvest, or longer. Again listen to SP1.

After marrying a communist refugee in 1968, I spent the next fifteen years studying Russia and the effects of a nuclear war. I have been a prepper for over fifty years! I don’t think Putin wants war, we do!
Prep and pray!

Lawnmore,
Truth in what you say, with highly salient points. Star & Stripes in the February 19th edition stated that we had spec-ops already in country even prior to the “invasion.” A student of the history of war even before my MS1 days, my view is that America/NATO have now 7 times violated the treaty, and Putins’ let it slide.
That being said, the last “redline”…. well he damn well meant it. In the 2017 simulation with NATO/American forces, it took 2.5 hours for the Russian forces to overrun and defeat NATO.Even Lt Gen McMasters stated that our forces are not capable of peer-to-peer fighting with the Russians

I heard about that study too, I hope you are right and Putin will not have to result to nukes. Then again one EMP in Europe or the US will solve his problems?

I understand Putin is not using his best troops and equipment and is trying to reduce civilian casualties, as many are Russian. He has also been very patient; none the less, I am pretty sure Putin is done with all the BS, the question is are we?
All I can do is prep and pray!

The current bunch of misfits in the offal office do want a war I believe to cover their tracks and suspend the constitution . Thanks George W Bush for that so called Patriot Act that has enabled these traitors to legally ignore the constitution and take over what’s left of America after the conflict is over or possibly even before . If the nukes do start flying this old boomer will be pissed when he climbs out of his fallout shelter .

On a more positive note, Edgar Cayce predicted that Russia would save Western Civilization. When one takes an honest appraisal of the West at this moment, it’s not difficult to notice that it does, indeed, need saving.
I would add that it is difficult to admit that the country in which one lives is the aggressor, guilty of criminal activity, war crimes, and the rest, and seemingly pushing for an all out nuclear exchange. But, that is where we are.

We had a mountain cabin in 1962 and as a teenager I helped my father fill the shelter with canned goods . Looking back it was only three weeks of food for the nine of us..

NATO is nothing more than the North Atlantic version of the U.S. gimme free stuff gang. The U.S. pays the majority of the costs, and to get free stuff from the U.S. the NATO members publicly, bend a knee. Any time NATO members go to battle on our behalf, all we are doing is further bleeding the best, and brightest from the NATO countries, leaving even more “gimme free stuff” mopes, populating the countries. When initiated, NATO was a good idea. But now, NATO has become the European enforcement arm of the deep state. Currently being used to cover the democrats CCE/Rico operations. Perfect example of the communist rule of law, lawfare tactics; Unfortunately, to the detriment of Rule of CONSTITUTIONAL Law proponents.
